Did that "new war season" mishap botch anyone else's AW placement and bans?

We noticed/realized with like 20 mins to spare before matchmaking started, so near impossible to get all 30 people of all 3 BGs to replace their defenders. I think we barely squeezed it in (at least my BG), but then noticed after war had started that our bans had also been completely wiped.

This seems to be a pretty significant issue, yet I'm not seeing anything about it. Our leader put in a ticket regarding it, but no clue what wil come of that.
