I miss last month's valiant quest

I miss everything about it. The fact that it was more forgiving than june's quest mode. I mean atleast you restarted with a full health bar on picking a new champ. I miss the fact that you had multiple champs to fight the boss. The damage was nice. The health was manageable and the rewards were amazing. I managed to get an awakening gems and a titan. More importantly I loved the mode enough to spend time strategizing over it, completing it. I wish we could just go back to that. Maybe keep the single path approach but atleast get a full health bar with the champ reset. With a slowish android device these last 2 months felt amazing with the rewards.

we all miss the previous valiant EQ, but unfortunately Kabam isn’t going to bend on this and revert back to it. Makes no sense why they would change from new content that the great majority enjoyed, to this dog’s hit but that’s Kabam for you. They say they’ll tune it down, but it’ll be the same form which sucks. I think most people liked the strategizing of which champs to use, especially with the first Valiant EQ they put out. Again not sure why they decided to make this change, and no one from Kabam has given any explanation for why and what they were thinking about by this change. It’s incredibly frustrating.

The elder difficulty is nearly identical to the first iteration of Valiant EQ. The design of it is fine aside from the requirement to clear classic, but the tuning is the real problem. Attack and health values basically need to be at least halved across the board.

Which is fine. I would strongly suggest to anyone, if you're comfortable missing the rewards, then don't do the content. It is absolutely not worth the frustration to do it.

But in the same breath, don't make such specific opinions about content you're unwilling to do yourself. If you don't want to do it, don't, but it's hard to give good and helpful feedback to a restaurant you've never eaten at. You can say you won't eat there and give your reasons why, but it's hard to help them improve if you haven't even tried what you don't want.

Miss the old VQ as well. The best thing they did to MCoC since the DSE from the day 1 that for some reason was changed 3 times afterwards and completely scraped at the end. But they dont have "the resources needed" to deal with bugs, disconnects, terrible AI, flopped changes to Trader Outpost and Alliance weekly quests and so on.

what’s funny is they put out 3-4 months of EQ trials, kept pumping this new iteration in livestreams, and produced …..THIS.

They could have just turned loose an English lit intern who hasn’t never played the game for 24 hours to cut and paste this together. I continue to come back to the simple word: Embarrassing. They should be embarrassed this ever made it to the live server. They should pull it down and comp everyone. “We missed the mark” is insulting to everyone’s intelligence

Yes, i'm also miss it.

Mostly because I was not forced to run it and can totally ignore that difficulty and complete only main EQ, unlike now, where so called "classic" is is harder than harder difficulty in the old modes.

not sure I need to try this to know what’s wrong with it. I’m no lemming but if 99% of people are complaining it’s too long with ridiculous health pools and way too ramped up attack ratings, I can take their word for it and criticize it as well. EQ was always a low stress way to enjoy the game and get decent rewards in line with the effort to complete it. This is an obvious miss by Kabam that provides little in the way of enjoyment or growth in the game. Oh and if you want better rewards, just rank up some useless champs to raise your prestige - this will make already difficult gameplay even harder but the payoff is marginally improved! No thanks. I’m still slogging my way through the “classic” difficulty and trying to use most of my energy on the daily quests. Why hurry to try this new “elder” level challenge when energy refills are now in short supply? At least I have less to use that energy on I guess. They’ve taken the part of the game I enjoyed most every month and made it so it’s not even worth trying.

The difficulty is something you can get over TBH. bring in the right champs and you could clear the classic version. It's long and annoying, sure but you get something for it. with elder however all of the great rewards from the previous difficulty is blocked by a significantly longer fight that requires a significantly deeper roster. even if the health was granted back on choosing a new champ that would have been relatively okay. hosnestly i wouldnt be too worked up if this was a mode of its own and all the rewards of the last 4 months were provided for just clearing classic. i wouldnt try for elder and that would be okay. i am okay with the fact that i am not skilled enough or have the best hardware to get every reward in the game. let the people who have them prosper. the point is to have fun and thats been taken away.

i hope they realise it is not easy pumping upgrade resources into ranking up 7 star champs to build prestige when the resources required to upgrade them are blocked by this kind of content. i barely get anything for classic as opposed to the 8k+ titan shards and 2k+ awakening shards i have been made accustomed to in the last few months. even with maxed out R5A 6stars i dont have the prestige to improve my rewards. i take 1 guy to R4 and 29 others drag my prestige down. provided, ofcourse, that the r4 is awakened. what do i do? do i rank up 1 guy to r4 for a basic increase in prestige or do i take up a bunch of champs to R2/R3 or 6*s to R4/R5 to have the 20 odd champs per class to even consider elder.
