Assist with 7 Star Rank Ups

Hey MCOC family! Would appreciate any feedback on my next rank ups to R2 & R3’s. I’ll list my roster below with some images. I have blotted out a handful of champs that I’m not too interested in due to awakening or overall usefulness.

My main focus is Story content, monthly challenges, BG’s, and initial strides into Everest content. Valiant account - have cleared through 9.2.6.

If you could invest in one champ from each class for R1 tanking to R2: who would you go for?

For R2 ranking to R3: I’m not so much concerned about classes of champs- would just love hear your input on which 2 or 3 champs you’d take up if this was your roster!

OR:

If there’s an R1 that you’d prioritize taking R3 before the current R2’s- feel free to highlight any champ that you feel warrants the rank up! I’m game for whatever!

Onslaught should def go to r3. Other than that, I’m just gonna list the bangers I see from each class:

Luke, Silk, Nefaria, Hulk
Galan, Vox, SIM, Knull, Odin
Enchantress, Wiccan, Chavez, Juggs
Warlock, Zola, Shuri, Arcade
Domino, DPX, Cyclops, Dazzler
Shang Chi, Cheelith (she’s specifically rlly good for story)

If you want further clarification on an order of who you should prioritize out of these, just ask. Or who you should prioprioritize first out of each class vs overall

interesting that you only have two skill champs. As someone who has 32 7* champs only two of these are skill with 10 being mutant. There were no skill champs in the alternative to Thing crystal. I’m sure things will even out over time but it feels like skill champs are being left out in the cold a bit.

he might have more skill champs but he’s only showing his R2 skill champs. The others must not be worth considering.

@JackTheSnack pretty much listed your top champs to focus on. I’d probably focus on Onslaught or Juggs or Silk first.

Jack thank you so much! You’ve helped me with a few rank up’s + advice in the past for few times I’ve posted here. I appreciate your time and awesome selection of each class represented. I need to expand my cosmic/mystic/tech roster so those were really helpful. I would have already done Enchantress or Chavez but been hesitant without the dupe (although Enchantress is a would be primarily a defender and doesn’t need the sig to be super valuable in that role). Arcade has also done really well as a defender even at R1 and I’ve his play style. Lastly, I don’t think I’ve tapped into the value Vox brings, the more I watch his stuff he’s such a solid champ.

Onslaught is definitely my next R3, possibly even this week as the radiance rewards drop. Been saving up for T4A. Love that guy he’s just downright cool in design, kit, counters and animations.

Thanks for the reply Jericho- as mentioned I do have some other skill champs but there not worth the mats or investment right now. Skill however, is my most shallow roster/class! My account seems to pull every class but skill haha. My first 7 was Hawkeye and very disappointing, other include patriot, Gwen, moon dragon, silver sable (I do enjoy her game play but not enough to rank). I’ve been sitting on my Mantis for a while and would rank her but I’m not great with her rotation. I don’t know what it is but my drop rates and crystal algorithms seem to repel great skill champs lol.

if you have the time later I would love to ask about priorities in the champs you listed! As in who you’d focus on first/second in each class. I often get conflicted in ranking up champs that don’t have sig yet. But I’m trying to break away from that because a good chunk of these are strong champs either way. Onslaught was an east rank up without sig 100%. I love champs like Silk, Ned, Luke cage, Chavez, Vox, Cheelith or Shang chi -who are still good w/o sig but shine a little bit brighter when awakened. I will say I’m breaking away from that attitude and want to enjoy the game more by using the champs at my disposal regardless of sig. in reality Dupes will happen more & more frequently as I build the account.

I’d love to hear which champ would be your first priority from each class! (If you have the time). Thank you again!
