Bgs next season

Is anybody else terrified of bgs next season? Nico minoru karolina more bastions more culls. I have a smaller account so I’m a bit worried that progressing to GC will be even harder than it is now

Nah!! Think OP will be fine. Not much you can do with a sig 180 falcon and a sig 160 cyclops.

BGs will always be a relative arms race if you're not personally advancing much.

There are different approaches though, of course:
- forfeit any match you don't feel is winnable and/or you can't be bothered enduring
- take on every match, even if they don't seem winnable, on the chance that they get bad drafts, or play badly, or screw up, or get distracted by their wife wanting to talk RIGHT in the middle of a match and they really can't ask her to wait for a mobile game so they have to either play with half attention or put the phone down and take the L and…grr….
- start later in the season, once the whales have moved on to GC already

i care about BGs a little less every season that goes by.

OP, if you’re worried about progressing in general (as opposed to just wanting to be successful specifically in Bgs), you could try to find a “stretch” alliance that will take a chance on you while you grow your account. A good alliance is going to help you with more radiance through AQ and AW than you can earn in BGs no matter how hard you grind (if you have a developing acct, as you are implying).

Thanks for the input everybody. My alliance is quite chill tbf it’s just that radiance rewards are quite nice

the only thing that fixes fear in the game is making your roster stronger. Strong roster = less fear.
