Have you given a try to elder difficulty?

I'm a rank 2 valiant (bassed in 30 champs prestige) nada I decided to give a try to elder difficulty and I was amazed when found is more easy than I thought, regular figths last 1.5 minutes or less even with 7* rank 1, I have explored the the mutant and science quests and inky spent one revive but due to an error, maybe you should give a try and don't just said what someone in YouTube said, what is unfair is the lack of energy refiles.

Tier 6 sucks. Attack values are punishing. If you don't play perfectly, you die to a single combo. No health regen on swap makes fights more punishing, because it eventually just chips you down, so you have to spread out champs that can heal. And the mutant quest was terrible; only took two bleeds for you to start taking damage.

Glad to hear that lower tiers are easier for smaller accounts, but it's still horrifically overtuned content.

It's absolutely terrible with 1 million health and 21k attack Crucible was much easier.

tier 6 here. Attack values are 27k on average. Each parry eats away minimum 3-4% health with high block proficiency champs.

I think everyone is upset because it's "end game" content for monthly EQ.

I personally found it enjoyable (tier 5). I do think changing the choice node to be full health would make it seem much better overall. I died on purpose a handful of times to save potions (I have way more revives in overflow than potions). The Mr. Knight fight was really the only one that was frustrating because bane is so strong. If the AI doesn't cooperate, you're pretty much screwed.

I also think the rewards were fine, unpopular opinion I know.

I’m more curious why so many people started to try it out/finish it from the get-go.

With a new Titan rollover and 9.3 starting this week, it would behoove most to get your new champs, do your new rankups/sig investment, bump those numbers up, and THEN start Classic into Elder.

1.1 was my biggest complain. That global node was just not thought out for attack rating values. Other chapters have been ok except for some defenders with unavoidable damage that scales up as well with atk rating

This was by far the laziest way to implement a feature they have been announcing for a while.

Hey how do we make it more difficult? I dunno give them 200%+ attack rating ..

That was it.. the huge exciting change was just adjusting a number.

This is making a LOT more sense now - I wasn't having that hard of a time in it so far and couldn't understand what all the complaining was about. But I'm only in Tier 3 Valiant and didn't realise how much the higher prestige ratings had the stats cranked up.

I’ve not even bothered doing classic 140k base rate fights for phc and a super rare chance of a 4 star champ lol when the daily quest I can auto fight and get better rewards I just be chilling. Till I see some actual decent content and some seriously well needed game fixes and server fixes. Phone heat needs addressing 2. I have over 30 r3 7 stars and 6r4 I don’t need lots of work for very little rewards.

I completed Valiant Classic once, wasted 10+ revives, get my Proven reward and close this mode. never again i touch this stupid nodes, especially Bane on mr. Knight.

When i want challenge i will go further to act 8.4

For anyone wondering, this is the first fight in Elder for tier 6. The first fight in the next level was an Abom with 1.1m health and 28.5k attack.

I don’t hate it, but I don’t like it either. The nodes are too restrictive for having 15 champs of each class. I particularly dislike how so many mutants can’t benefit from the mutant nodes or reduce the benefit by AAR (Domino, AA, Kitty Pride, Sinister, Magneto etc).

The rewards are not “fine” if the difficulty is on par with endgame content. People complained about Wheel of Fate not having good enough rewards, but it blows adaptive EQ out of the water.

Its like they saw all the feedback from the various Valiant EQ betas and went deaf to the feedback to go straight to the first iteration but with insanely high attack and health with ancient nodes.

Crucible were easy just because story content is easy, the last hard piece of story content was original act 6.

I got what you said but in my level I and I can sure you other players at same level than me still using 6* rank 3 champs to clear the elder difficulty, this means 6* rank 3 or 4 vs 800000 and 19000 health pools and base attack respectively, so unless the nodes be different I have faced similar situation to you at level 6, and trust me that 3 hits received is insta kill even at level 2.

I must said I found more punishing skill quest because the willpower mastery disabled, just because in the other class quests you have options to regen with champs habilites.

Ya Chapter 4 Elder difficulty with skill champs disabling willpower, but forcing debuffs was not fun at all…
