Is Mr Knight a let down?

I know September's been a pretty bad month for mcoc, but the Summer's choice champion just seems to be the Cherry on top of this turd pile for me.

Understanding a champions abilities by reading stats is not my forte, but he seems a bit underwhelming. I can't get over his regen rate from hisspecial 3: 1% over 9 seconds??? How in the world is that helpful?

I'm more so concerned about jis absurd play style that requires you to actively bait out heavy, Seriously guys? a champ that simply HAS to take block damage? that's the best they could come up with??

Why does Mr Knight have a regen in the first place? Death immunity? OK, I'll bite. Khonshu and stuff. Resistance? Yep, that makes much more sense and fits the lore. Maybe if the regen was tied to some lore stuff it might make more sense to have in his kit.

Honestly giving my opinion you guys can troll me on that too as I think that hercules designer has set the summoner choice champ bar that high that even in 2025 we feel latest summoner choice champ are not what community wanted

You guys can say hercules is useless in Mcoc 2025 that's for sure but because he is so powerful that kabam has locked him as 6 star yet and I think if we get 7 star hercules his value will rise again to the top.

Here are why summoner choice after hercules don't feel op

2022- quicksilver need best hand rotation and skill to play him well.he is good but other science do better than him

2023- Gladiator need to get a buff to become good in Mcoc. People use him a lot but definitely he is also a champ who needs good skills to play him well

2024- Shathra the only reason I feel people has ranked her up is because she has high prestige yes she is good for many cosmics but definitely not a type of champ people expected from a summoner choice champ

2025- mr knight was chosen by community because of his hype in the show and was expecting him to have some kind of cheat immunity or something because of how he is related to khonshu but instead he is losing hp trying to bait opponent heavy considering the AI we have in Mcoc

But hercules was simple to use intercept as he applies infuriate use sp1 and then intercept into sp2 for big yellow and red numbers with all the utility of becoming stun immune true sense to bypass autoblock and miss on sp1 and a immortality buff to save you.

This is the reason I feel why summoner choice champ needs to be better than him to beloved by the community

Also how many of you feels that both Serpent and Onslaught looks more like a Summoner Choice Champ than a regular monthly released champ?

Because I think both champs abilities feels like their designer work very hard to make them best in their classes

Ignoring the fact that he isn't available yet, it is entirely accurate for a moon Knight character to take blocked hits in order to get the opponent close enough to him for more vulnerable strikes. How well it works in game or not, there is a legitimate reason for it.

I would wager the show didn't have much to do with Mr. Knight being chosen. The show wasn't that good, and Mr. Knight is just cool-looking and has aura

@ShashankGupta buddy Shatra is actually a great champ. The number of matchups she can take is insane. Not just cosmics but other classes as well. Buffs just feed her more but she is not totally reliant on it.

What players need to learn is that Summoner's Choice champions don't automatically mean they're going to be better than any other champions. Hercules was clearly the outlier, but he would have been if he was released in his own and not a part of the vote.

It's a choice of which champion would be released first, not which champion is going to be better than if they didn't win the vote

He is for me, there's a reason Adam and Gladiator aren't as popular these days, do people really think this will be any different? Yes yes I get the whole he's not even in the game yet argument and normally I would agree but any champ whose rotation and damage rely almost completely on AI manipulation mechanics and actual cooperation is just not that good. I say this as someone who almost always has Gladiator in his deck, can be effective when it works but there will always be moments where AI does the complete opposite of what they're supposed to do when they have that intimidate on them.

I already know there will be times when that reckless does nothing and the defender either throws full five hit combo into your block or decides to dash back and turtle block.

I am actually excited for Mr Knight. His block and bait heavy playstyle works for me, having played Absorbing Man a lot before. Each Summoner’s choice is uniquely designed in a way that they are different. Hercules is Hercules. Quicksilver is the only champ with Whiplash as a damage source. Gladiator has different damage types once he is ramped (basics, dot and red burst damage), has that unique ability to deal damage while the opponent throws a special. Shathra has a unique damage source in the form of energy damage through bugs. Mr Knight is unique in that most of his damage comes from light attacks

it's not the jacket lol just his overall look .. it's very bland. they should have used the same art style for him in game as they did during his SP3.

This. For example, Shathra or Quicksilver was never even meant to be a top 10-5 mystic. In the end, these types of champs are just champs that we vote for, not guaranteed to be top tier.
