That's because you don't have dexterity. Exact animations don't really matter. His melee reach is consistent and long.
That wasn’t the issue I mentioned at all. You can clearly see that no part of him or his hammer got anywhere near my champion yet it still counted as a hit. I even zoomed in and put an arrow pointing at the large gap so there would be no confusion. There is an issue with the hit box. I asked why is this still occurring years after release if it’s not intentional, and if it is intentional why would they code such garbage on purpose? I can see some discrepancies with very small gaps but this gap is ACTUALLY larger than the character that I’m playing with. This game requires very precise timing and spacing for many aspects of game play; parrying, dexing, heavy and special attack punishing, yet there are spacing discrepancies larger than my entire character? It’s either not intentional, in which case that’s pretty unacceptable, or it is intentional, in which case that’s pretty unacceptable. If this was equated to real life that would be a gap of 4-5 FEET between the end of the hammer and any part of Chavez, much less her center mass. Meanwhile we have characters in this game where their attacks are less than a pixel away from the other champion, or even in some cases that I have seen, parts of the champions are literally overlapping and the hit doesn’t connect. Yet serpent can hit people from full body widths out of reach. It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever
