24 years today....Marvel paid respect at that time.

Firefighters were the anonymous heroes at that time! As the First Aid Angels saved us from Covid.

I was in office, when one colleague said a little plane crashed on WTC in the US.

Just for curiosity, i oppened cnn.com and the 2nd plane hit South Tower.

It was because my colleague saw the news after 40 minutes.

So, when I see there was a 2nd plane crash, in the same time I realized it was on purpose.

After I told the guys, everyone ran to watch tv news that tuesday morning in SP, Brazil.

Even thoughts of a possible 3rd World war came... Because we didnt understand why that attack.

As since Gulf War , World was very calm at that time.

Our prayers for every person missed on that tragedy.
And we hope this wont happen ever again...

Kabam Crashed

I had school later that day. I had my radio alarm set to the classical music station. Most mornings I woke up to Bach or Beethoven, that morning I woke up to people screaming (I guess they had cut to a live report from somewhere near ground zero). I turned on the TV just in time to see the second plane hit.

When the first tower collapsed I called my dad at work and asked him if this was World War 3. He said "probably". I was in my teens and thought there was a good chance I would end up drafted in the coming years.

I was running g late for work. Woke up late. Roommate was telling me that we were under attack. I told him I got no time for stories. Then listened to the radio on my way to work and yep, under attack.

I was in my dorm room, watching the Today show before class. Turned it on as they were covering the first plane, and saw watched the second one hit. Walked to class, which was cancelled.

I'm in the UK, I remember sitting in the waiting area of the local Indian take away restaurant waiting to pick up our dinner and seeing it on the TV.

I was at work when it happened. We had 3 employees die there. One of our offices was blocks away and I was tasked with coordinating employee checks and office relocation. My boss wasn't Mayor yet so he offered our office spaces for impacted clients. I spent the next 6 weeks no days off building info links with the firms and helping space planning and buildouts of temp offices for workers who avoided death. If this had happened 2 years earlier I would have been dead as I worked at (old) 7 WTC.

Nice day though otherwise.

I was at a friend's house, and I woke up to the footage on TV. I thought it was a movie, then I quickly realized what was going on. My friend was distraught, thinking she brought her son into this world for this. I spent the rest of the day looking up at the sky for potential planes.

Then I watched the towers come down. Traumatic to say the least.

RIP to the 3000 Americans who died that dayz and 1.5 million Iraqis who died in the war followed the incident.

I stayed home from school that Tuesday, can't remember why, I was like in the 7th grade. I recall watching it live on CNN with my family, we were all just in shock. I vividly remember my uncle seeing the second plane hit and it's like it hit him where he stood. Horrific. Sad day and days etc that followed.
