9.3 class gates

I don't understand the point of these class gates in 9.3. You just have to bring 1 or more champs of that class, and you have 5 slots on your team. Half the time the gate is the class you probably wanna utilize for the node anyway.

So like... why are they there? It's not a problem or anything, I'm just genuinely confused what the purpose is? It doesn't make it harder, so far it hasn't restricted who I can bring in any way, they're just... there. Please tell me 'cuz it's bugging me, lol

It's just there. Doesn't serve any special purpose.

Maybe it's thier to help players in future.

I saw it more like a recommendation, okay summoner take this class on this path for easier time.
