Squeezed to the point of quitting.

I woke today to Zero energy refill in my stash and inventory all my units have gone on revives to complete EOP. I've basically hit a wall. You attacked revive farming now you have attacked energy refills. Why do you "kabam" persist on pushing summoners to the unit store? I'm free to play and it's not fun at the moment please fix this. Kind regards Tom.

You are right if Tom quit, no Kabam will not lose sleep.

How about 2 FTP (or low /casual spender), nope they still sleep fine.

How about 3, how 30%, how about 90%?

This is not something that Tom or just 1 players feel, it not hard to see how many are voicing this.

So yeah maybe Kabam should lose a bit of sleep to work on a better balance.

I am free to play but I occasionally spend some money in game especially when I’m stuck on a boss and my resources are depleted. So yeah kabam has to think about f2p players also.

Moderate and even relatively high spenders are feeling the squeeze, too. It's becoming more and more difficult to have fun in this game.

I'm basically just logging in for dailies at this point.

I agree that the energy situation is hitting everyone. They do want us to play the game right? Between daily quests, solo raids, and bgs there is just not enough energy to actually play all the modes I want to. Thats before the new eq comes in next week. I dont think this was an oversight on kabams part. I unfortunately feel like this was a conscious decision to force us to stop saving up units for events.

1- F2P quiiting doesn't impact profit.

2- Empty threats, the moment they give out something free or have a good event people come back drooling

I don’t think it’s as straightforward as FTP don’t make kabam money. There’s a whole interconnected industry here that FTP are an important part of. They play the game and many will follow YouTubers to help them play.

The YouTubers spend fairly substantial amounts of money because it keeps them relevant. The popularity of their channels largely rely on them having high level and up to date champs so they can accurately discuss the latest content that all players are interested in.

If large sections of the FTP player base stop playing they’ll most likely also stop viewing YouTube content and the YouTubers have to find something else to pay the mortgage and this will hit Kabam’s ability to recruit new players and spread the game.

Also remember that young players may start FTP because they don’t have the disposable income, but as they grow older and increase their ability to spend they may chose to spend it on MCOC if their FTP experience has been good.

Like many I started FTP and although I don’t spend high amounts compared to many, maybe £100 per year, that’s because I got enough of a positive experience from FTP that I then felt I wanted to spend money on the game.

But of course it can’t all be geared towards FTP because if Kabam doesn’t make money the game goes away, and that’s the bottom line.

There’s nothing here that’s as black and white as all these forum discussions seem to imply.

You don't have to do all content, take a break, I adviced you to play mcoc every energy refill, I do what you can do, don't to do every content as soon as it drops.
