Stop making bad decision KABAM !!!

- give back the 3 refill from alliance weekly
- keep the refill in the 4hr crystal
- no elder mark ?? now what the alliance who are only BG focused will do ??( it will be hard for players to meet the alliance score min requirements for Bgs)
- people have many refills in the store because they don't play actively - if u play a descent active + in Bgs u won't have much refills in overflow

- less energy for bgs
- less energy solo raids

The only true positive is the solo raids change. Forcing everyone to waste their energy on whale grounds is crazy. Kabam is literally killing their game for no reason.

It's compulsive at this point. They've become so accustomed to making bad decisions that hey forgot how to make good ones, much like how Nintendo has forgotten how to properly price anything that they are putting out for the switch 2.

I agree. If there was an honest reason for the changes to how available energy refills would be, they should have just posted that earlier/now/immediately. Why are they going to wait “months” to put out their reasoning for this. I can’t be alone in losing interest in the game because of many of these changes. It seems my alliance is full of people who feel the same way - seems like they’re few who are on like they were before this last update. Maybe that’s not such a bad thing… time to finally move on??

With BGs sometimes being compulsory to get some rewards, I loved having the elder marks. It ment that I could still do the content I wanted, whilst having a seperate currency I didnt have to worry about when forced to do bgs. Please dont get rid of Elder Marks. Its a perfect for bgs to have its own seperate currency.

Seems that way. Kabam is so focused on getting people to play all day every day that they are taking away the agency of everyone to play the game how they want and how it best works for them.

It's dumb, it's obvious, it's childish, and it's pushing probably most of its core playerbase away. Because in this world right now, no one has the time to be this dedicated to marvel casino of champions

A lack of energy is going to result in a serious lack of engagement, that's for sure.

I'm gonna go auto play the daily because I want the units (that they still need to give the rest of back), and then I probably won't touch the game again today. It'll be the same story tomorrow, and then maybe Monday they'll get an extra 10 minutes out of me for AQ for the sake of my alliance. 9.3 is already explored, so I've got no content really to do, and I used almost all of my refills doing it.

Is 5-15 minutes of daily engagement worth all this?

Side quests should have between 0 to 1 energy cost per tile, daily quests the same, how are we supposed to complete everything if we don't have the energy?

The elder marks are the only reason for me to play bgs, since it wouldn't spend my energy, without it I will just give up in another mode.

Probably the next great idea will be putting energy costs in arena, since we have that many overflow refills.

We tell them have no more energy refills they take more energy refills away. Not listening.

By the time you will realize how may people quit it will be too late.

A simgple request, How about they leave old crystals as is and implement new 4 hour crystal without energy refills.

I'm pretty sure people are not gonna like it either way, but at least that will help us in the trantransition.

I don't want to talk about other stuff tbh. It's been harsh.

Most of their decisions have been so tone deaf, it's almost laughable at this point. Says "we've listened to your feedback", but then immediately just doubles down be REMOVING a fairly consistent source of Energy, while giving us a "more consistent" source of less energy (2 a week, really?).

Not to mention making BGs energy only is insane, because now to grind BGs you'll have to choose between BGs or content (if you're behind, anyway), whereas before you could use your energy, then do BGs when your energy ran out.

I genuinely cannot even begin to fathom what feedback they're listening to if their takeaway was "Gotcha, we'll give you less energy overall, and make you spend MORE energy long term". The mental gymnastics here are something to behold, I'll grant them that.

Holy ****, they are so disconnected with the player base its unreal.

Every decision is a trade off, we get something and then 2 things get taken away.

What on earth do we need a Dev diary for when its clear every decision is based on making QoL worse? Is this what it has come down to, nickel and dime every resource possible? Every single thing Kabam advertises as positive ends up having 2 negative aspects hidden in the back. This is pure gaslighting.

How is it that everytime Kabam says that they listened it gets worse?

Examples:

DSE: Hey we listened we understand the boost issue and you will get a selector. Conveniently leave green boosts out.

EQ: Its time to reveal a new difficulty, it was long overdue. 4 months of testing to get this trash mode ignoring all the positive feedback from the Valiant Gauntlet. New exciting rewards, except everyone's prestige was lowered at least 5k points so we are basically getting close to the same thing.

New Dailies: you will be able to get a lot of rank up mats even for your low star champions. Spend the energy that has become completely scarce now.

Start thinking as players ffs.

well I was coming here to make a post about Kabam farming Ls, but hey you guys are already on it. Where did the decision to remove eldermarks come from. Why are you all making decisions that are so enraging? Was this supposed to be a W? How?

I liked being able to play BGs without using energy (through elder marks) I don’t love the game mode but I grind towards gc every season. Not having to use energy for a game mode I reluctantly grind is great.

This isn’t even great for the excessive BG grinders. Eldermarks was a great option for the more casual BG player. I can’t remember the last time I read some new change from Kabam that got me excited.

Kabam you are ruining the game. Here’s an amazing idea fix the AI, update health potions. GIVE US QOL CHANGES THAT WE HAVE ACTUALLY ASKED FOR!!!!

If I cant use elder marks to play bg then I just wont play bg. I guess thats a win since I can abandon and quit playing yet another mode. Kabam wants us all to quit playing and you can't convince me otherwise.

Just when I think it couldn’t get worse. My entire alliance is only focused on BG game play and questing. This decision forces us to spend even more energy. Come guys, WAKE UP!! It’s bad enough yall chose not to upgrade alliance BG rank rewards, and now you want us to play BGs even less? I want to be able to grind BGs and still have energy to quest. I don’t want to have to choose between the two. If your hidden agenda is to just force us to spend units on energy, just say so… if not then find a solution that actually works so we can play as desired. I’ve already spent a **** ton of $$,$$$ on the game. Don’t make me spend units just to play daily content.

I'm kind of curious they can make all these alternative currencies. What if rather than screwing up the rest of the game for Everest content why don't they just create an alternative energy for Everest content?

I mean they already have unique energies for War and AQ. Just add one for Everest content. Then they can control how fast it's done rather than limiting most the player base on content a majority of players won't even complete.

I feel like they want us to stop playing the game. Right now i want to play but can’t because i have no energy. This goes back to the alliance quest thing where we are real people with real lives and we can only play this game when we have free time. I have a job, a family, a house, responsibilities.. I can’t hop on the game every hour when my energy is full then play for 10 minutes. I need to be able to play what i can when i can and this energy restriction is making that impossible. I have honestly never been so close to walking away from this game.

I mean, Sony finally released their Pro, and it was way more expensive for not that much better. Not even an internal disk drive. Then 5 years in, raised prices while lowering specs even further on some models. And don’t get me started on Apple. Just fail all around in the tech world lately. 😕

I had to read the energy economy post again, cause it almost did not seem real this morning.

Thank you for finally saying elders are finished, BG ally is finished. Meaningful BG rewards are just for the skilled elite now.

Then saying "more refills" to relace elders, well here we go again, with a promise about something later that will somehow undercut what we had before. If it's anything less then 10 refills, to cover 67 matches from 6000 elders, which likely is the case.

Still aware you removed 160-200 units each month from Low EQ + Weekly Ally.

Will be interesting to see this dev diary post coming, about why these changes are needed. Perhaps by some miracle, it will all make sense. Somehow figured it would be more logical to post up first, then make changes.

I guess I'll auto fight the dailys for now, which will eat up the little energy they give me, and then spend the rest of any game time on other games. Eventually I'll get tired of it and quit altogether the way they're going. This energy decision is the stupidest thing I've heard. I've almost always used elder marks for BG and saved energy for other content so that mode will be dead to me once they're gone. You want us to play more, but then take away the only way we can, oh, unless you wanna spend some units and Eventually some money. I was mostly free to play but did spend occasionally. Notice the past tense, not anymore. Thanks for sucking the fun and life out of what was a great game.
