Hold up, you still think a 16 (non-trivial) fight path in this energy economy is fair?
Essentially, you've locked us into a long path where you may not have time to finish it in a single sitting. And it's not like they're all just no-brainer fights. Used to be i.e. less than a month ago that you could pace your hard content; take a breather and burn energy on auto-fights and then come back for the next path.
With this plethora of changes, you're potentially wasting the now scarce commodity of energy and not able to burn the excess on - oh I don't know maybe the auto-fight daily quests that we now have to do to pick up our essentials, otherwise we lose the units to buy energy refills that don't exist anywhere else AND the entry tickets for the weekly event, which has units for... energy refills.
I mean thanks for allowing us to double dip the rewards, although it's not like we aren't doing the work, but with what energy?
And finally, not to mention the odd timing of the energy change. You drop a bunch of content that many would be excited to do and then in conjunction decide to taint it by pulling all the energy at the same time. You're like the parents that allow you to throw a party only to tell everyone to be out by 10pm.
