Damn,glad I quit after the banquet

Got a video from Seatin recommended and seeing where the game is right now,I’m glad that I didn’t stick out to experience this ****.Ive been thru some tough times with the state of the game,but this might be the worst time for mid-end game players.Honestly I don’t see a reason to keep playing when the company just drops bombs over bombs on players.Better quit now and stop worrying about this game once and for all.

Yeah it's bad. Every step forward (Valiant EQ for example) is followed by a marathon in the other direction (Whatever this new EQ is). I have no idea why just taking the Player's feedback and develop based on that is this hard for developers of a game that's been around for a decade.

I'd rather listen to players who still want this game to thrive and have much more meaningful discussions.

To be fair to him, doesn't him quitting give his opinions more credibility, in that his dissatisfaction meant so much and was so genuine to him that he actually removed himself from it?

If I ever quit, I’d just go quietly rather than make an announcement. Quit means you don’t care anymore and won’t be back, but the fact that you’re posting here shows you still care about what happens in the game. The better word is 'break'. I’ve taken breaks too when the game felt more frustrating than fun, and sometimes I come back months later when things improve. So instead of calling it quitting, just step away- and if the game gets better down the line, you can always jump back in.

We have had serious issues in the game in the past and will have many more in the future. I hope you remember that many people left after 12.0. The number was huge.

But,

You are still here. I am still here, and others from the time are still here. And there are new players who don't even know what happened during that time.

We, as a community still care about the game to some extent, as we sticked around this long.

If someone quits, good for them… Nobody likes 'I told you so' guys.

After reading the replies and reading what I wrote,it is pretty much a “I told you so” type post.Really could’ve written it better.What I wanted to do was to show my frustration with the direction of the game.I played this game way too much (don’t regret it) and have so many good memories with it.I want to see it doing good so maybe I can play it again and find it enjoyable,not to play it as a chore.The game at its core is still a good game,but the things they’ve did the last few months (from what I’ve heard) are pretty sad to say the least.Hoped that if they see people expressing their feelings with the game and saying their frustrations they will try to give the bare minimum to the players that still play it.If y’all keep taking their side don’t expect things to change.Sorry for **** n ****.

And it is pretty hard to not hear things about a game you played for some good years.I haven’t touched the game (except for the 7* fantastic four nexus they gave a week or two ago).It ain’t like I quit today.

Like many of us... you were getting pulled in by the downward spiral of the dev decisions, you decided to act ont them for your own health.

For about an year, a lot of decisions have been focused on

1- Monetization

2- Over the top players engagement.

1 year ago, I had my wakeup call. I used to grind at the top. (Not the actual top but a lot highier than an average f2p).

What I did? I stopped the grind.

I don't do arenas anymore.

BGs demanded massive time investment, I brought that down to 4 objetives every two days. I usually miss some. Perfectly fine.

Joined war focused P1 alliance, as it takes less time. We only do wars and nothing else. No AQ requirements, just boss rush.

They wanted more engagement. I reduced my engagement to half.

I made those changes for myself and my wellbeing. You decided to quit, turns out you are doing the same thing as me, Cutting back the ingame time and making decisions for yourslevs.

If the energy nerfs effects the players in general, Kabam will know. The numbers won't lie, and pretty sure they will not let mcoc slip out of their hands. It's their only cash cow. They cannot afford to lose players, including a large portion of f2p or a small potion of p2p.

Will comment after we see how they fix the EQ difficulty.

At this moment theres lot more negetive feedback than positive, and players are justified to have opinions. Its just that the quitting argument never fairs well.

I have not done EQ in years. I do not do AW. I only do story quest, SQ, 4 objectives for BG every other day, push for BG wins in last 24 hrs of a season, and 6 energy in AQ weekly just to qualify for rewards. I have not spent in a major event in over 2-3 years. While I am not anywhere close to the top players, I can still breeze through 9.3 with a moderate stash of revives and pots. You do not have to do everything to be a comfortable endgame content clearing valiant. With the exception of things like Wheel… I refused to do that.
