EOS?
Real talk, we think this is where we are headed now? Seems like Kabam is making anti-player moves left and right intended to make people be in the game more frequently (i.e., starving us for energy, and by the way never introducing any kind of overcapping mechanic or even removing the energy system entirely over the rntire course of this game, gacha games that respect your time better will have such mechanics in place to reduce FOMO and make it to where you don't lose energy dramatically even if you don't log in for a day or two or can only log in for a few minutes a day due to IRL; or, unbalancing prestige dramatically to attempt to reignite the rat race around prestige and all the spend that comes with it; or, paywalling QoL features like arena express, higher inventory caps and access to Scarlet Witch behind the sigil, which a game that respects its players will give those improvements out in thanks to their players instead of paygating it like Ebenezer Scrooge to Bob Cratchit because, you know, why not try to make a buck off of every single thing in this game? Or, this aggressive monetization that has somehow continued to intensify to the point where, frankly, what is the point of spending if any good it did you gets eclipsed by the next two sales and if someone else does while you don't, they lap you even if you've been playing for years--little thanks for our love and dedication to this game for so long).
So, a question to the community then is, do you think we are headed for EOS? And, if so, if Kabam keeps making choices like they have lately how long do you think it will be before we are in Forged to Fight territory here?
Much love to all of you, the community here and my alliance are why I still keep coming back, because it certainly isn't the new EQ!
