Zola Compensation

First, I appreciate that Kabam is offering a compensation and that they’re doing something for us that opened the faulty crystals.
Second, I don’t want this coming across as a whining post, or seeming to be greedy about ‘MOAR COMPENSATION!!!’
However
If I had opened 3+ crystals, not sure how I’d be feeling.
The compensation will not get anyone a chance to dupe Zola.
In the past with faulty crystals, Kabam has simply sent replacement crystals out at a 1 for 1 quantity. Not here.
If they had offered at a minimum a Zola AND a Titan, at least that’s rectified in the sense that you have a chance you didn’t have before to dupe Zola.
But no one does, and that’s the issue I have.
Anyway, that’s my two cents.

I’ll be honest. I opened 12 titans and 2 nexus’s without Zola in the . I would love to get more and I feel as if I should, due to the sheer amount of titans I opened. I just wish that there were graded amounts of compensation that hinged on the quantity you opened

I just don’t expect more than the minimum. So if I’m going to be criticizing, sometimes I’d rather do it in a way that doesn’t just provoke an emotional knee jerk reaction, because those responses are the easiest to shoot down, devalue, or get GW thread sidetracked into oblivion

I'm in the same boat, saved for a long time, grinder everything I can, only open Titan crystals with faulty drop details. Even open Nexuses.

All in return is Zola or 1 Titan.

Lots players don't complain much about this because it is Zola, sure it would of been a different story if it was Yelana or Spider Woman.

If I bought any deal with cash that came with Titans for the explicit purpose of getting Zola, that low level of compensation feels a little questionable

I've said as much elsewhere, may as well repeat it here.

This compensation package is, in a way, actually perfect. In a technical sense, it's quite literally the best and most direct compensation they could provide as it's overcorrecting and addressing the issue at hand. Zola wasn't in the crystal, people had a 0% chance of getting him; Kabam's response? Giving you Zola directly if you opt for it.

In that sense, the compensation is perfect - and I mean that genuinely.

In another sense, it's quite underwhelming and stops from being perfect because it appears to be limited to a single selector, regardless of how many crystals you opened or when you opened them.

As has been stated, in the past Kabam has issued a 1:1 compensation whenever incorrect crystals were purchased or when drop rates aren't what they have displayed. So … why is someone who opened twenty crystals getting the same as someone who opened one? Similarly, the petty part of me is wondering why people who opened crystals after they were corrected are getting compensated at all. They weren't affected.

I opened twelve Titans and a Nexus - had no desire for a Zola, technically I had better odds at getting the champion I did want and still failed. Is that the point? No. The point is that the crystals weren't as advertised - compensation should be 1:1.

Now, if Kabam were to offer this selector compensation as a 1:1? THAT would be amazing. If their thought or concern is "well we can't do that because it would effectively just be giving away a max sig Zola." … okay, but let's assume that the crystals WEREN'T broken. Then someone theoretically had a non-zero chance of getting a max sig Zola if they were to opening an equivalent number of crystals, correct?

look up the definition of compensation, it's supposed to recompense what you have lost and this bs isn't compensation it's more like heres something to shut you up playing on peoples want to roll another crystal. But it definitely doesn't cover what we lost if we opened more than 1 crystal . Like me I opened 9 and yes I have an unduped Zola but I would rather have Nico or Karolina so I should've had 9 chances to pull or miss my most wanted but maybe if I missed I would've also had the chance to dupe my Zola 9x instead I got some other bs and now I have to pick between the chance to maybe get my most wanted or a dupe. It's absolutely bs! Also I did the adaptive eq and I definitely lost more than 5 energy doing it. And then they say how if we did it we get the chance to do it again and double up on the rewards…. Lol what a joke, when kabam isn't actually making up for what we lose when they mess everything up. Not only should they be making up for what we have lost in actual materials or currency but they should be compensating us for the inconvenience and just general pain in the ass that they have put us through. Instead they spit in our faces like either we are stupid or they aren't intending that and they are complete idiots.
