question on elder's marks' future

If/when they are deprecated... was there any announcement to what will happen with any elder's marks players already have? What about changes to the BG scoring system where currently you get wildly different points per match depending on which way players went in.

Over the coming season(s), I think it important players understand the plan, so they can make the appropriate decisions about "using or losing them", or "saving them for a currency swap".

What will replace them in the rewards (energy refills?)

What I knew was that Elder Marks would be no longer used, or in other words, extinct.

if you read update on energy then you would know they are reevaluating even going through with that change

They are re-evaluating. Not that that means they'll necessarily change course.

Personally, I hope they keep them - it's good to have a resource for Battlegrounds after you've used all your energy on quests.

But they may decide to continue with the plan after all, given that they've decided to keep energy relatively plentiful.

If they deprecate tokens, then it'll almost certainly be staged. Something like:

Month 1 - stop giving out tokens in rewards

Month 2 - offer trade-in for existing tokens

Month 3 - recurrent warnings to use or trade in existing tokens.

End of month 3 - auto-trade of all tokens at a reduced rate, tokens no longer accepted for BGs.

Month 4 - Forums and YouTube erupt with 'why weren't we told? Compensation demanded!' threads…
