Adaptive Stupidity

I am currently at 27098 prestige & I need 2 more points to get to the next lvl.

My quandary is: should I use a few sigs to qualify for the next lvl, which will earn me an extra 500 gold but increase the difficulty of the 100 defenders I am going to face, or sacrifice those extra rewards to have a less painful 100 fights?

I observed The prestige tiers are there for visuals, basically the rewards keeps increasing without hitting higher said tier.

Hit the +2, watch the rewards a tier down and you'll understand what I am trying to say.

I think the updated tiers are bugged. I also ended up being just 9 points short of the next tier (from 10 to 11) and it was only an increase of 2k gold.

Looking at it again, the prestige you're showing for tier 10 is what mine shows for tier 9, and my tier 10 shows 28,500, but I locked tier 11 at 28,508.

You don't have to increase your prestige by 2 to hit the next tier for better rewards bcos it doesn't make a huge difference by increasing 2 prestige

The real difference is when you have major rank ups to do and your prestige will increase significantly den do the rank ups before locking in your prestige every month

Thats how OPs rewards should look at 1 tier below. But that's not the case.

Like I said, rewards keeps increasing without hitting the higher tier.

The adaptive EQ is adapting to corresponding prestige within prestige thresholds.

Like many things, the lack of communication is the issue here. It is very confusing how this works.

Tier1 5 6 9 10 20 40 68 70 doesn't even matter....

Adaptive eq is defining it's own tiers inside the visible tiers thresholds.

The rewards incereses are more like

27,100 , 27,101, 27,102..... 28,499, 28,500.

(Op is getting +500 gold for +2 prestige)

Adaptive EQ has no tiers at all. The "tiers" are just there to give people a way to see how rewards increase, but in fact every reward in Adaptive has a minimum progression/prestige to appear at all, a maximum where beyond that point it disappears (for lower tier rewards) and in between the two the rewards increase with prestige in minimum chunks. So for example, sig stones obviously can only increase by one, the game doesn't have fractional sig stones, so at one prestige you'll be getting three, and at some point that will increase to four. Things like fragments tend to increase in bunches of 100 or sometimes 500, while other things might increase by some smaller amount like 50. But factoring in the fact that all rewards have some minimum amount they can change by, all rewards change smoothly with prestige. In fact, they each have their own reward curve so it is possible for a prestige change of twelve to increase one reward but not another one, just because that particular amount of prestige falls in between the steps of one resource but not another.

Short version: every reward staircases upward with prestige with some minimum step size, but other than that all rewards increase smoothly with prestige. There are no tiers, at least not like the ones shown in the preview buttons.

Thanks for confirming what I had to figureout myself. People haven't caught up to it yet.

The differeces I observed was just by observing others screenshots and the changes I did to my own prestige. I increased my tiers by two.

Turns out, moving ahead, I'll wait anytime im close to a big high sig r4. As the ingame tiers don't mean much, unless you overtake those tiers by a big margin. Marginally small increments are still there throughout the process.

One is rewards for Classic and the other is for Elder.

No, you do not get them both.

If you look at Classic it has 24 Etherion, meaning those are the rewards for reaching the milestone with 24 Etherion.

If you look at Elder it has 30 Etherion, which requires exploring Elder to get 30. You will get all those rewards.

I believe what Joe was trying to point out is that one screen shot is showing Elder at one difficulty and Classic at a different difficulty.
