ALLIANCE WAR SEASON REWARDS BUG?

On sept 2, There was a post made from Kabam Rex that stated the current AW seasons ratings would be frozen and would not change wether you Won or loss. However, during this period, our actual ranking for the season decreased and due to it we’ve received rewards lower then our previous season rewards instead of the difference we were promised.
Are we going to get the difference in a compensation message or is this a bug issue?

Also how come this message wasn’t sent via game and not forums? If I had not checked forums during the time the game was down I would have never saw it. Hoping to get some type of answers here.
