Dread Emperor Doom is...

A rare win for kabam this week. It is actually a fun fight that can be done with any champion at any health once you learrn how to dex his specials.

Probably easier than the Ares and Glykhan fights, especially with not having to go through his healthpool several times (a pyschological plus).

Credit where it's due.

Yeah heis quite easy and fun, and easy to power through too if you suck fighting him.

I felt he was a bit under tuned for being a badass boss, but also understand most people would enjoy him being rather easy to take down.

couldn’t agree more. 9.3 on a whole I thought was brilliant tbh.

I wouldn't say 9.3 was brilliant as soon as you understood what is happening with node it was just autopilot whole way through from there. Kind of like all recent story it is just a reward gate.

I kind of think those type of nodes should be eq and whatever they are trying to achieve in eq should have been story. This months even nerfed eq is more painful than 9.3. I couldn't tell you a single fight off my head bar doom but some of those fights in eq I will remember for ages. Plus side 2nd go around in eq I am planning a bit better.

On to actual post doom was awesome as you could use absolutely anyone and any health lvl and rock him. Granted some were better but you weren't road blocked if you don't have say northstar. He was a fantastic design and fair fight you could easily solo or pot through depending your skill set. Big win for him.

Yeah, I had a ton of fun with Doom. He's one of the best bosses they've designed, I think. Or at least one of the most fun to fight. I really wouldn't mind if they turned him into one of those bosses that pops up every now and again in various content.

He could probably use a little tune-up if he's to be the boss of something meatier than just story content, but the boss concept as such is super solid.
