I remember seeing a post about a dev diary coming this week about the poo storm and compensation.

Pretty sure Crashed only said he was going to try and get it out this week. Can't imagine that will actually happen though.

considering the a big chunk of it was around why we won’t be getting energy…. And that reversed course completely… I don’t see it happening

There's a few hot topics to cover in the dev diary so just give him time to type it all out

This is not part of his job scope, this is extra work that he volunteered to do for us

I'm just interested to read his game philosophy regarding the recent changes

I would argue it is part of his job. He may not be the big guy in charge of the whole game, but he is involved in and in charge of many of the teams that make decisions for the game. These decisions have been consistently bad of late and his position in particular has a level of accountability to the customer, and as a result he, of all people involved, owes the player base an explanation for the poor direction we've been heading in and some insight into the poor direction we're probably going to continue in.

This part of the job may not be in his day-to-day responsibilities, but it isn't volunteer work and shouldn't be viewed as such. The players have been getting shafted left and right for the better part of the last 18 months and someone needs to speak to that.
