Classic and Elder EQ Rewards

Is anyone else thinking they aren't getting the advertised rewards from the new EQ? I started with 40 generic sig stones (this was the easiest resource to track), completed and explored both classic and Elder. Now I'm in tier 10/19 with prestige so I should expect 8 stones from classic exploration and 12 from elder. Well now that I'm finished I have 56 stones in my inventory and I did not use any throughout it the process, which makes me think of which other resources have been shorted. Unless I'm understanding the rewards to be expected wrong.

This is what Kabam support responded to my ticket regarding the same "problem" as yours.

Thank you for contacting us about being unable to receive the total rewards from the Classic and Elder difficulties of the new monthly Event Quest.

Please know that the Classic and Elder rewards from the monthly Event Quest should not be added in total after exploring both difficulties. The total rewards you can get from playing the Quest are only displayed in the Elder difficulty, considering you have access to this higher difficulty. The Classic rewards are partial, and only a part of the total rewards in Elder difficulty. We are suggesting all Summoners to play first in the Elder difficulty, once you have explored the difficulty, the Classic difficulty rewards are automatically unlocked without having to manually play in that mode to save much time.

You will not receive both Rewards from Elder and Classic difficulty. You will just earn more Rewards from Elder difficulty compared to Classic difficulty.
