ADAPTIVE EQ

Kabam is this new adaptive quest staying?
Do u realise its terrible and nobody is enjoying it?
And that's before we even discuss the ridiculously poor rewards.
EQ is supposed to be a fun monthly event for all summoner levels and those that want the harder stuff do the other events and instead of enhancing anyone's experience you have completely ruined 10yrs of what you built. How can u go from adding valiant and gauntlet which were both pretty fun to making this stupid adaptive EQ and whoever thought that we all wanted to do a crucible type event each month must be mad and on top of that making the SQ more problematic also, and whilst doing all of that, completely nerfing all rewards, utter madness.
I really do not understand the direction you are trying to take the game, so instead of completely changing the game that so many enjoyed how about spend more time fixing all the ever increasing issues and poor gameplay and stupid broken AI, really hope you all come to your senses soon and bring back the good times as your game is no longer fun and is an unenjoyable chore.

For me, all that node swap is even more tiring than the fight. It becomes long and tedious 😔

Just let me pick 5 champs and be done with it.

The reward structure is very confusing. Thought I was getting 30k seven star shards only to realize the rewards on elder are the collective total between classic AND elder.

Which when you realize that makes the rewards for completing Elder, frankly, quite embarrassing. Like it doesn't feel like enough of a jump in rewards the difference from 100% Classic and 100% Elder if Elder is really meant to be more of a challenge.

(And they should still get rid of classic being a requirement to get to Elder, regardless of rewards comparison)

It didn’t seem any more difficult than the first couple of Valiant quests from May/June timeframe. I agree that the rewards layout isn’t very intuitive

EQ wasn't fun earlier either. TB eq was nukefest. I stopped exploring TB cuz they removed its requirement for paragauntlet.

The only reason I explored lower difficulties was units. Those units are now in daily quest.

Val EQ was exactly the same design on launch. It got positive feedback thats why it is here. The only change is that, new one got higher attack and health values. The rewards are buffed (marginally for lower prestige, but significant for higher prestige)

Blame the community for giving a positive response on VEQ 1st test run.

I actually enjoyed the valiant gauntlet format a lot more. Now I have to plan each and every path for elder difficulty is just a deterrent for playing because sometimes I just want to enjoy a quick 20 min adrenalin rush, not to mention the rewards doesn't match up with the effort that goes into reading nodes and planning roster.

Do we even need to mention anything about the top 30 prestige and their dynamic rewards scaling?

I hate to see that playing this game is quickly becoming a grind.

12 paths in 30 days is a grind?

This month we did elder twice and still we are left with 17 days of nothingness, no eq to do. That is exactly opposite of a grind.

Personally I think it's a step in the right direction even though it's not perfect. I love only having to do 1 run through of eq and then the Gauntlet to get all the rewards instead of having to fully explore the quest, plus I always like an incentive to rank up lesser used character

16 fights each path in elder is pretty long imo. It's like playing monthly crucible.

Not sure how much time you get to spend playing this game everyday, but some days I only have 30-40min a day to sit down and enjoy the game.

I could still manage a path with old valiant gauntlet, but it's impossible to do so with the new format. With only 1 energy refill a day, that's only enough to get the daily quests done.

Hopefully Kabam can maybe split the paths into 2 like the old format. Will be a lot more manageable that way in one go.

It's a mobile game after all. We should be able to just log in for some quick fun with these monthly new content.

I thought the first version of Valiant EQ was best.

The adjusted one isn’t terrible,..just roster restrictive and i agree that the reward layout is mundane.

I enjoyed the easy flow of the first version much better,..it was more streamlined ,..simple in the fact it was more “gauntlet “ oriented.

I think people supporting the current rendition are missing the point that it is just EQ,..keep it simple and enjoyable,..not the six hour high chip damage slog that it now is.

This EQ is just a resource dump. So many health potions are required if you don't want to waste revives. Its not hard, just expensive. If the node swap healed you and there were 10 fights instead of 15, then this content would be a whole lot more digestible.

My concern is regarding Elder Mode. First it follows a crucible theme but champs don't heal after swap.

There are some Science and Mystic champions with access to Regeneration. While, Cosmic, Tech and Mutant is filled with them.

But what about Skill. No regeneration and willpower is removed as well. I exhausted my resources just to clear the Skill class chapter.

I demand just 3 things that can make the whole AEQ a lot better.

Allow swaped champions to be at 100% health.
Reduce the number of fights from 15 + Boss to 8 + Boss.
Revise rewards.

The "nodes" they've decided on need a complete overhaul. The majority of them don't benefit ANY new champs from the past few years.

I'm glad someone else said this. Been reading how bad new Elder is but its the exact same thing Valiant Gauntlet was for the first 2 iterations and the overwhelming consensus on that was how great it was.

Personally, i like it. I'd like it even more if i didn't have to do one pass through classic to unlock it, but c'est la vie.

I dont understand how someone loved valiant eq and hated elder eq, (let's avoid the first iteration of elder with inflated numbers), They are exactly the same.

People comparing times, new quest is 6 hours thing but so was old one. Old tb eq took nearly or more than 6 hours. It had 24 paths to be explored. It was nukey, boring and energy intensive, just to get access to paragauntlet.

I agree on the criticism on old nodes. New nodes are needed to go with the new design.

There were plenty of threads, before VEQ was launched, complaining how they don't touch tb eq and how boring it is. Now the tables are turned and it's too hard whaa whaa.

Doing single clear of classic is actually not that bad. It'll go faster next time around. It provides a pracrice run on new champions too.

The energy crunch at the start of this month added an extra layer of frustration. But it won't be the case in coming months.

Rewards are literally more than before. But the UI is to be blamed for poor user experience. Clearing a quest doesn't feel like we did anything significant.

While new quest is work in progress. The old format was nothing better, too lengthy.

I'll do this in 2-3 days and forget it exists for the remaining of the month. It's much better than before.
