Yes! I’ve been stuck in this toxic relationship with Kabam for 8+ years - survived all the gaslighting, the mood swings, and the straight-up abuse. I’ve been a 'moderate spender' for the past 3-4 years, with the occasional full-on whale meltdown on July 4th and Cyber Weekend. But this Spider-Woman nerf? That’s it. I have finally realized that if Kabam were a person, they’d be the most egotistical, sadistic maniac I’ve ever met. Most, if not all, of their decisions are based on profit margins, not player experience. Congrats, Kabam - you finally broke me. I’m done spending!

yeah. I think I’m done. Just throwing good money after bad at this point. I historically spent 400-800 USD per year, it ticked down last year because it didn’t seem worthwhile. This will push the spending to zero.

It’s already influenced my spending. Cancelled the sigil and won’t be renewing anything else. Complete spending stop unless this crazy and unfair (by their own admission- they stated in the announcement that her offensive performance is fine!) is reconsidered.

Considering the strength of feeling on this and the number of people stopping spending/walking away, I think they’re on track for the lowest cyber weekend/week sales on record. I just can’t understand why they would want to alienate the player base and drive the game into the ground.

Come think about it, this is not going to do anything. You guys think holding money for a bit will change anything? So what they are going to come up with a BS post reverting announcements as a best case scenario and some people will take the moral victory and spend again?... The game needs a change in direction not a temporary stop and move on the the same way.

The so many times promised and half assed implemented road map is needed.

Kabaam has their grip on them and they’ll keep spending so nothing will ever change. If they stop spending, game will eventually die. It’s a lose lose.. Kabaam can do whatever they want basically..

Spider woman nerf didn’t influence me not spending as it already was at a screeching crawl for a while, it’s more of a, should I quit already??? A lot of bad than good and this is definitely a tipping point..

My investment into this game, whether finances or time, is changed until Kabam can start making the right decision the first time with consistency. No more bad decisions that get reverted. You can't possibly have this many former and current players on staff and come out of meeting after meeting thinking what you're about to do is good if this is how every decision turns out.

Make the right decisions the first time and maybe you earn some trust back.

Completely done for me now, cancelled sigil earlier just in time before it auto renewed. I’m winding down the reliance I have on this to fill my time. Some great console games out over the next year. Resident evil should be good. New fc26 is out now and new cod out november with the big one of gta 6 coming out the end of next year. Bad time to start screwing a player base over. Says a lot that I’ve spent more time on this forum than in the actual game lately.

The last month was enough to deter further spending in and of itself. If they nerf SpiderWoman, that's the last straw on the camels back. Even if they gave a rank down ticket for it, which they won't cause we haven't seen one of this in over a year it seems like, maybe for Shocker was the last time? Kabam is not reading the room before they do things, and it should not take 1000's of furious players to know it's a bad idea, just like the energy shenanigans they tried pulling last week.

So many reasons to not spend on this game (like if you can't afford it, or you hate it but play due to addiction).

Big spenders will continue to spend big.

F2Ps and baby spenders will try to pressure Kabam to reverse the rebalancing by threats of boycott/non-spending.

i dont fall for there smart words anymore i canceled my sigil 3 months ago and didn’t spend a peny since heart of fire event. And i’m not attending to spend on this game anymore i’m done FTP for ever 😃

I used to be kinda a mini whale (dolphin? I guess) but if this Spider Woman change goes through im dropping down to 0$. Honestly, even if Kabam walks back this change, I still might spend 0$ cause it was stupid they even thought ts was ok in the first place.

I'm tired, I spent some money (not a whale but a small fish) but those changes made me feel disappointed. I chose SW in a titan and gave her an awakening gem because she was good attacker and defender.
