I Keep Getting Bitten... Bugged Game

I can't get past the screen saying I've been bitten. It won't actually accept the role/token and just keep repopulating. Any word on this or similar experiences out there?

This entire thing is so poorly coded... And exists for no apparent reason at all. I've just lost 10 minutes of my life, literally for nothing.

Hope they address it on the Livestream, but believe they need to address it on here. It has been too long since this "friendly ping" has been going on with little to nothing said.
