What exactly is in an Alliance Quest Raid Crystal?

My alliance just finished the Nightmare raid and I'm about to claim the Boss Treasure. Previously, I've claimed the Shatter Essence so I could get Solvarch but I have him now so I don't need the essence any longer.

Have the Alliance Quest Raid Crystals ever been updated for Nightmare difficulty or are they still **** for Valiant players?

Take the essence. It's 1500 7* shards, trade in will come after his chase timer ends.
