Does anyone know how Kabam as a company is structured?

I’m still just trying to wrap my mind around this Spiderwomen situation. Like if they were a traditional uniform company they just wouldn’t do this. They wouldn’t advertise a champion using the thing they’re nerfing against the champion they say is an unintentional fight (see the deep dive, they literally use Bullsye as the fight and ensnare as the selling point). They wouldn’t say they’re nerfing her defense by taking away her offensive ability and keeping the defensive one (fumble). All of this just doesn’t seem to make sense in a traditional company. Is Kabam a fake company where really what is happening is Netmarble owns the code and they just higher independent contractors to just do various projects around the game with every one in a while a mandatory team meeting? I’m just truly perplexed, these problems just don’t happen in a cohesive workplace environment.

That's a good point about the Deep Dive. Clearly it's not some unforeseen or unintended consequence, she's working as they intended.

So why don't they want her to work this way anymore?

They have already dismissed deep dive’s as relevant…. Titania SP3 rotation was brought up recently (also nerfed). And we were basically told “get over it”

They did something, they weren't happy with the result and now they want to change it. Quite normal behaviour.

I am dude, I think this is probably my last one for a pretty long time. As silly as it sounds, I think I’m kind of going through a bit of a weird kind of break up with this game. I’ve played for a really long time, I’ve spent hours and hours in this game, it’s been a real distraction to some pretty low lows, and just like anything in life, when it was really good and then one day, it’s just not, there’s a period of adjustment…or a crash out :)

Either way, I think I’ve gotten it pretty much all out, so yeah, I think I’m just about done with the game to be honest. So, sorry for the rant dudes, maybe I’ll make a post again or check in from time to time but if not, be well everyone!

Okay. So kabam is removing ensnare from her kit? Is it really a big deal? I mean tomorrow is tomorrow. The earth is still spinning. And in the end, it’s only a video game. It’s not a big deal. She’s still gonna be really relevant. There’s like 200+ other champs in the game as well. Cmon guys

Another team didn’t agree at the time the original decision was made, so they waited until the point in the process when they had more authority and they decided to unwind the original intention.

Happens all the time. Companies are dysfunctional, often deeply dysfunctional. Especially when they are working under intense pressure to grow revenue without adequate resources, as I suspect is the case for Kabam.
