So no changes for elder difficulty?

Started playing in may and got to valiant. Then changes came in and prestige dropped. Now new eq is long and too hard for poor rewards. Elder difficulty is too hard . My roster is not huge and I tried several times. Having to use r5 5* for fights it's out of reach. The amount of items I'd have to use is not worth it. I spent on game but now I'm not enjoying game so I'm cancelling sigil and not spending again. Tier 3 elder is too hard for my account and rewards are too poor to throw items at it. 16 fights with those health and att is not good. Thanks for taking the fun out eq kabam. And thanks for doing it before cyber and Xmas il save the money

bottom line, elder is still not going to be achievable for lower and new valiants. Roster requirements are too great, they aren’t changing anything structurally (except nodes …. Eventually). They are throwing in lower tiers of EQ but that’s not going to get you to the rewards you need to expand your roster.

As someone who is able to do all of it, this is still an “L” for the community at large -the valid complaints continue to be met with ill-conceived solutions.

They are going to nerf classic further so it becomes a cakewalk and classic contains a large percentage of the overall rewards so they can do that until they are capable of doing elder. You know, like how when you became thronebreaker back in the day you couldn't nessecarily complete tb eq off the bat.

Nope. Sorry, not good enough. That’s not casual content for fun - that roadblocking players to appease top level players complaining of boredom. Go make more end game content then…. That’s not the purpose of EQ

No they couldn't. In every iteration of valiant eq you had to swap champs after fights. Current elder eq is the same format as the first iteration of val eq. And that was the one that everyone on here preferred over the one where you had to swap 3 champs every few fights.

There were multiple paths even when it was single champ swap gauntlets- so you didn’t have to have 14 champs ranked up per class, but you had to fight the boss 3 times. That was doable for lower valiants

That was the second version. The first version was the 6 quest crucible style and that was the one they went with because it was the one most people preferred.

The very first iteration of Valiant Gauntlet, which ran in May and June, is exactly what the current Elder EQ is.

What you are describing is the second iteration which ran in July and August.

Here's a few quotes of both versions- pay attention to the dates. Bear in mind, some of the positive comments are from serial whiners so goes further to show just how popular the concept was.

The format of the current adaptive EQ is almost the same as the first month. No one is denying that. However, the defender health and attack values are still overtuned even after the nerf, compared to the first iteration of the valiant EQ.

With the adaptive EQ, Kabam has completely missed the point of EQ which is to provide a fun and easily doable quest for the vast majority of player base every month while giving out decent rewards. If we want to do challenging content, we can do Everest content but monthly EQ should not be the place for challenge and difficulty.

At the time of announcing the nerf to adaptive EQ, they said they are looking into giving players the option to select their chosen difficulty tier in the adaptive EQ but now there's no word on it. The way they handled this whole adaptive EQ issue and the latest SW nerf reeks of dishonesty and gaslighting us that they addressed all our concerns when the reality is different.
