Question: Twitch Drops and Linking Accounts

I’m hoping someone can help me with a query. At the beginning of the month, when Kabam introduced the new adaptive difficulty event quest, I kind of threw my toys out of the cot and deleted the game (and my Twitch.) Like many of us who eventually come crawling back, I later re-downloaded the game. Today, Kabam is doing a live stream, and I’m trying to figure out if Twitch drops will be available.

When I re-downloaded Twitch, I recovered my account but changed my username. Now it seems my Twitch account is no longer linked with my Kabam account. I tried to link it again, but it said I can try again in 24 hours which will be after the live stream is finished.

Does anyone know if I watch the live stream on Twitch without being linked to my Kabam account, will I still be eligible for Twitch drops and be able to claim them when I link the accounts later? Or will I miss out entirely if I’m not linked at the time of the stream?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I assume you can.

In the past, the summoner fest points fiasco. People didn't claim thier previous drops till a later date.

So I guess, if you qualify for drops, you should be able to claim them after you have linked your account.

This will work if and only if twitch allows the drops to stay in the twitch inbox without an active linked account. That I don't know.
