Act 6 Update Rewards Compensation
After quitting several years ago because my phone's battery couldn't keep up, I started playing the game again on a new account for the Steam release. I've been sitting at Uncollected for a couple months and holding off on doing Act 6 because of all I've heard about the difficulty vs the rewards, and because I heard that an update was coming.
I figured I'd either wait until after the update to do it, or possibly do it shortly before the update depending on when there was news on the date & compensation. I was surprised to see on the stream that the update is coming this week, and also pleasantly surprised to hear that the compensation won't be time-restricted.
I won't be able to get it explored before the update, but I'm considering running completion before the update for:
-> finally moving up to general Thronebreaker benefits/rewards
-> 7* Miles
-> Thronebreaker rewards for the second round of the general compensation(?)
-> the fun fair Sue profile pic that's for some reason progression-locked
-> the pre-update profile pic
Before I do, though, I'm curious as to how exactly the rewards buff & compensation will work:
-> Will the buffed rewards be an update to or a replacement of current rewards (in other words, will the buffed rewards include current rewards with the addition of the update rewards)?
-> Will compensation cover everything (full rewards vs difference in rewards for completion/exploration per quest, chapter, & act)?
