Why so complex?

Was totally excited for new update and events today. Everything is so complex I have no idea what the heck to do? Can someone simplify it? I have no cure thing, no bounty target and no freaking clue what is going on! Thanks!

I have the same question. Been playing for 9 years and have no idea what is happening, no cure, not able to run the side quest. This is just a game and it's supposed to be fun not homework. Hard pass this month. Losing faith with each update.

Bounty Missions are the worst SQ design. I hate do this, then do this to unlock that SQs and Bounties are the worst form of it.

It's probably easier to list the things that have been working properly today than the ones that haven't.

Like what is this for? Why does it have two heads? Why am I not allowed to rank it up? How do I get the cure? What is the cure? Where is incursions? What is going on?

First find someone to gift you a cure to the plague. Then find the bounty target 5 times decoding the riddle and manufacture another one by buying the ingredients in the online web store. If you can't afford them, use units in the special monthly event store. Once you have 3 potions, gift them to people whose name all starts with different letters NOT in your alliance. This will give you a key to start the side quest. Finish the quest with a skill champ above 88% health and open the puzzle box from your in game mail and double click on it. Enter the code found at the end of the monthly eq and let it spin out or it will disappear. This will give you a timed entry to the elder monthly special side quest, similar to disney fast pass, where you can earn points, in multiples of 4, towards the global objective and tracks. Dont exit this quest early or your hidden idol will be consumed and you'll contract the plague again. Do this for 90 days. Bam. Done.
