Old Nodes

Am I the only one sick of the old nodes in EQ and the fact all the new characters are coming out and don’t work with them… like come guys how do you not see what you are doing. You completely ignore player feedback on the EQ stuff and doing an Fing 180, so using champs that work with the nodes at least makes the fights a little quicker. I would love to use Nico in 1.2, 1.1 bastion would be nice but he has power reroute instead of just power steal which would work with the old nodes. That’s the type of stuff I’m talking about. I could be completely wrong and maybe I’m the only one who is thinking this.

Probably. EQ needs to be something that as many group of champion would be viable.

You're absolutely right. I remember last month's EQ allowing tech champs with armour ups to power drain the opponent on well-timed blocks. Champs like Bastion couldn't work since his is passive.

I only used mine because he is R4 but if you have him at lower rank I could see it becoming a problem.

Don't even know how the rest of my mystics are going to do since I cheesed the entire classic path using Claire.

So basically nothing was done with EQ except to make classic less of a pain. Nodes were widely panned… and nothing done. Lazy implementation- again.

But the “we hear you” comments keep getting applause. You guys ramp up the suck to 11, set the fun to 1…. back it down to 8 on suck and call it a compromise. No, it still sucks.

So kabam cant get a W at this point.. everything is bad in players eyes.

And kabam only seems to listen to players when there is an negative backlash to some of their implementations …

Tell me about it, my Mystic and skill are getting dogged around like toys because most of them don't have some forn or self heal or control and my skill is mostly purify without damage over time

is like they don't know how to fit all the characters from the same class in a single element, the old skill one was good enough they just need to remove the Anti healing

I agree with the OP. And to add to this, Kabam over engineered and over complicated nodes in most areas of the game long ago. For a very long time it has felt like Marvel Contest Of Nodes instead of Marvel Contest of Champions. Many nodes in different game modes have not been adjusted, and the sheer amount of nodes in far too many fights has been ridiculous for too long.

And here's another point - these Valiant Guantlet/Elder Gauntlet style quests are supposed to "reward roster depth" except these nodes they continue to reuse and reuse don't benefit the majority of the newer champions over the past couple years, so it's like we're being "punished" to use old champs that aren't as relevant in most areas of the contest so you only have them at Rank 1 or a 6 star.

It makes no sense.
