How’s Act 6 Looking After the Nerf?

I’ve been around the Contest for about eight years now, and the Act 6 update definitely caught my eye. The livestream mentioned re-tuned nodes and bosses, an “enormous” reward boost, compensation for everyone who’s completed Act 6, and a special PFP for those who finished it before the nerfs.

I’ve completed Act 6 but only have about 23% total exploration so far. Acts 1 through 5 are fully explored, and I’ve been holding off on pushing further until this update. I’m really curious to see if the new tuning and rewards make it worth diving back in.

For anyone who’s gone back into Act 6 since the October 8th changes: how’s it feeling now? Are the fights better, and are the rewards actually worth the effort now?

And do we have any update on when compensation for Act 6 finishers and the pre-nerf completion PFP will be sent out?

That’s… not exactly helpful 😅 Did you happen to notice if the node changes or rewards looked any different at all before backing out?

Havent done anything since the nerf, i did however have a quick look at the gm fight. He now has 7.5 mill health down from 9 something (if i remember correctly) and they've doubled the amount of punishmemts to 10 before you take an sp3 to the face. Didnt need to read any further, thats all he really needed imo.

Got about 60% done as i used act 6 and 7 for free units during last years banquet. When u have high ranked 6*s and 7*s the fights are easy and last about 20 seconds not to mention uv likely got the best counter to every single def in there, i dont see act 6 being any sort of issue for bigger rosters. You just might have to brush up on a couple of the bosses and how to fight them

Hopefully the nerf helps enough to get some people to actually try to finish Act 6… a lot of players, especially the older crowd, I know just gave up and consider Act 6 their stopping point story event wise. 🫤
