Have to be in one from the instant the event starts or you're screwed out of it entirely. Just get the 'too late' message with no warning of that as standard

That's very kind of you DrZola, but I think I'm ok. I'm starting to pull away from the game a bit. The game was very special to me over the last 9 ish years but it seems that what I once loved has slowly, like a gradient transitioning from white to black, has faded away. I'll play casually whatever I can but it seems like going forward, that's about where it ends. Thanks again though!

I’m also in the same situation. I haven’t been in an alliance for years. I only play arenas, story, SQ, and EQ. I won’t play SQ this month.

I’m not in an alliance either I do not have time to keep up with alliance bits n bobs so it’s a shame lol

I wonder what is the ratio of players that are either not in an alliance or in an alliance and not playing AQ/AW. I would assume Kabam creating an alliance event would mean there are more that are in active alliances than aren't but there still seems like there is a good portion that aren't. Seems weird to exclude those players from the SQ for the month, especially after the last month they had. I know they have an alliance event every year around this time, but still.

@Tempest_024 I can't confirm this but what I've gathered is that even if you join an alliance right now, you can't participate in the event. This is a very unusual move because if the point of this event was to get people to join an alliance, it doesn't seem like they can. Very strange choice. The only reason I can see them doing this is they are really, really pushing that $30 pack in the store, but, its hard to imagine a situation where this isn't a diminishing return. You would think that anyone that cared enough about paying for something like that would already be in an alliance. To me, the off putting and bad faith design of this months SQ doesn't really seem like a strong choice to go with, especially after last month.
