Act 6 rewards/compensation

I'm pretty sure on the stream, during the announcement of act 6's nerf, that those who've already done act 6, at any time, can do one run of the grandmaster, and you get the rewards?? Any ways, I beat him again, and nothing.. did I hear right??

You heard wrong - compensation package is going out later this week or early next week and gives the difference in rewards for any completion/exploration you’ve already done in Act 6. You don’t need to rerun anything to get the comp, just wait.
