I know right! I think they have a "ok how do yall wanna piss them off this month" team that they started recently π€£
The problem arises when the alliances are not active upto kabam standards of engagement.
They did warn that this month is going to be a alliance based super season. And I don't mind them testing these events.
But
The milestones are Pretty damn high for the numbers. Too much commitment required from 30 players within an alliance.
do this and this to unlock that in order to do this.
Oh the originality,.. I remember an old alliance mate ( quit the game several years ago) describing this repetitive scenario kabam loves to use as a crutch.
Would be nice years later if we had some quest designs that didnβt involve keys and chests and objectives to get those keys and timers into next week, and blah blah blah.
100%
Honestly I find the whole bounty thing annoying and not very fun anyway, so frankly happy to not have to deal with it.
The crazy part is, these bounty events have never been well received. I fail to understand why they're still trying to make bounties a thing.
Pay to play side quest
They literally were given this feedback on putting solo milestones into an alliance format during the relic opening event. Kabam made the choice to actively ignore that feedback because the juice was worth the squeeze. If they say anything other than βwe wanted to monetize the sqβ it is a lie. Point, blank, period
+1. The design is poor.
I remember the last time rewards were pretty good for it. But the complicated nature still left a bad taste. People messed up, kabam had to send entry keys as compensation.
BecaBecause kabam refuses to drop things that cause player disappointment. They simply can't stop doing things that cause players to be upset for one reason or another. Its like they thrive off the negativity.
I asked myself the same thing, then I saw that Kabam are selling bounty mission entries. Who thought this was a good idea? Forcing Alliances to do SQ is terrible but to add to it you decide monetization was needed as well?
This is not good at all.
It's all very spooky
