Spider woman Nerf

Kabam's fix for the SW nerf doesnt even begin to address what a huge nerf this is for the champion. For anyone disagreeing just needs to go use her against Nightcrawler in this months EQ. Her ensnare shuts down 1/3rd of all the BS that goes on in that fight, thats just bare minimum. That means no root, or reverse controls, no incinerate on block. She is not nearly the champion without ensnare as she is today. Before you argue, just go do the fight. I got lucky and didnt get reverse control or rooted for the entire fight, but even if I wasnt lucky it would have worked 1/3 the time.

They need to issue rankdown tickets or only remove ensnare from defense. This is a make or break issue for myself and many others. Do the right thing Kabam. I have been playing for 10+ years now. This is the last straw for me.

Her Fumble will prevent Evade though, plus the nerf isn’t going live till next year

Isn't ensnare only active for a short time and goes on a timer? How do you plan a whole fight around that window.

Yeah, nothing in my comment talks about evade. Evade isnt the issue, there are multiple champs that prevent evade. At the moment she stops evade as well as everything a champion and node can do a minimum of 1/3 of the time. Making Fumble stop evade doesnt even compare of how valuable she is now. When her nerf goes live is also not relative. Do you even have her?

You dont plan on using it the entire fight, AA doesnt have his nero shocks on for the entire fight. Also she does so much damage you really only need a sp2, sp1 rotation. This is a huge nerf, if you dont have her you really dont understand how big that is. Using her in this current BG. 1/3 of the time a champion doesnt trigger evade, or unstoppable after a special attack so you can just punish specials like a normal fight saving you a lot of time which is a key to victory most of the time. Thats just one of many examples.

This is exactly why I think her nerf is warranted. She already has too much utility, so lumping in an ability that turns off 35% of the defending AA is way too strong. You shouldn't be able to ignore so many nodes with a champion that already has very high utility in so many other situations

But Serpent and other defenders were not nerfed. They aren't even addressing the fact that she was an attacker as a reason she was nerfed. They said its because she was a strong defender. They could easily remove the ensnare on defense. If all of those other champions are not being nerfed but the attacker is, we should get rank down tickets. This is a total bait and switch when it causes problems for Kabam.
