Research grants trade-in

I could not farm more than 88 research grants.. so I traded 40 for 6* Mr. Fantastic (2 bundles) and 10 for gold..but I still have 38 research grants remaining and there are no other options for trade. I saw people who purchased 7* Mr. Fantastic bundle could trade grants for 7* crystal shards. what about people who couldn't?

@KabamPinwheel - Will there be any more trade-in options for research grants? If yes, what will it be, just more golds or 7* crystal shards? If not, are those grants going to be in my inventory forever?
