Which option would you prefer for the future of the game?

Personally I would hate to see a new stars pool. I think 7* should be the last step. I would like a new way of getting stronger instead.

Ascension functionality for example is pretty good

Edit: I had a poll with 1. awaken stars or 2. keep going for new stars pool but it didn't show up lol.

8 stars are inevitable. That said Kabam will probably extend the life of 7 stars as long as possible. They have an extra rank over 6 stars plus we have ascension to increase their life further. 2027 might be the earliest we see them

Why not switching 7 to 8 stars with such specific materials like ascension? Understand the needs to extends the game but hate that rng chasing champs all over again. Just a wish that this time let the players decide who they wanna make to the 8*

i just tire of the rank up repetitive nonsense.

It would be cool if 8 stars were just one rank (awakening and sig ability of course)

And missing customizations for champs that can be earned through content or purchased.

But a different approach or a reset/ refresh on how champions are levelled up might pique peoples interest more ,.,than just more of the “same old”.

It's probably going to go something like this:

8* Champions get released (sometime in 2027-2028 if the game manages to last until then);
7* Champions get access to Ascension, which might require 400 T2 Primordial Dust or Kabam will create T3 Primordial Dust for this, with the goal of prolonging the life/relevance of 7* Champions in the endgame;
4*, 5* and 6* Champions gain access to a second Ascension (with the number inside the ascension icon updating to 2 if a second Ascension was done), which requires an already Ascended 4*/5*/6* Champion that is also Max Rank and Max level (unlike on the first Ascension which can be done at any Rank and any level).

Too far-fetched with the second Ascension thing?

When I started playing, we already had 7*s in the game.

I'm excited to be around from the start when we get 8s for the first time.

But for people who have been through this before with 6s and 5s, then it makes sense that they would feel jaded and bored. That's ok, this game isn't meant to be your life partner, finding another new exciting hobby is better than being a chronic negative nancy on the forums.
