Shatter essence

I just got to gladiator circuit in battle grounds. Why did the shatter essence get taken away as a reward? I bought 3 of them from the store and just needed 1 more which was in battle grounds rewards and now it's gone. I didn't purchase those only to be 1 short I want my shatter essence to claim my 7* champion solvarch

It wasn't taken away. This season of BGs was always planned to have the new essence as the reward.

You are unfortunately out of luck as there is no other way to obtain shatter essence.
