Kabam, please actually nerf spider-woman
Before the community gets mad at me I want to say a few things, serpent shouldve been nerfed, kate shouldve been nerfed, etc. The rebalance program has a lot of failures, but using these are reasons as to why spider-woman shouldn't be nerfed is whataboutism - whilst they should've been nerfed, that doesn't change the fact that spider-woman needs to be nerfed. Also it's really disingenuous to bring up dark pheonix and saying 'kabam are okay with dark pheonix but not spider-woman' because dark pheonix is yet to be rebalanced.
I would like to mention that the spider-woman rebalance post also implies she's stronger on attack than kabam want with 'While her offensive performance is on the stronger side, it’s not something we feel warrants intervention on its own.' meaning she's a bit stronger than we want but this alone isn't enough justification to nerf her, but removing ensnare fixes both problems.
Also I really dislike how people are saying spider-woman isn't that strong as if they weren't saying she's the best science champ, some people saying she's a better defender than photon and some people saying she's a top 5 champ, just to go 'she's not as strong as onslaught', like c'mon
Anyways some may be confused by the title of my post, implying spider-woman isn't getting nerfed, which I actually believe, on attack at least. I actually think she's getting buffed. Her evade counter being tied to a severe debuff inherently makes her better than she was before when it was a usual ensnare
The ensnare can also hurt you, my favourite examples are onslaught where my friend failed onslaughts sp2 delirium, dashed in and died because of the ensnare and thing. Thing is super annoying if you can't consistently get him to 15 rock stacks.
Also if 30% ability accuracy was so important to everyone, why don't you all run the pacify mastery, it's not as good as it takes up mastery slots and is tied to stun but it can fail dark pheonix's immortality, which is apparently what everyone loves using spider-woman for
Jokes aside, the rebalance system is flawed, it's failed a lot, but it also has it's successes, Kabam have issues communicating with players, I really wish they made it clearer in the post that spider-woman was too strong on attack instead of just implying it, but spider-woman absolutely needs to be nerfed, and I really hate how she's gonna become a better attack with these changes, I really hope the community engages with me in good faith and kabam don't buff spider-woman because of community pressure
