elder eq still sucks to play
i appreciate that kabam is listening to player feedback and actually trying to address issues in the game, however it seems like they only saw the outcry about healthpools and damage values because the biggest issues for elder are still unaddressed.
these issues being that of far too much restriction per quest in that you can only even use one class per each quest which is even more annoying given the terribly restrictive nodes, both of which only serve to exacerbate the issue of roster size. I understand that veterans need something to do with their rosters, however those rosters should not be the primary consideration when designing these quests as simply put myself and many, many other players do not have enough champs at a high enough rank to even really have illusions that this content is achievable.
15 ranked champs per class for each quest is simply just far too many for someone without a decade to develop a roster, at the bare minimum we should be able to bring in champs of other classes because thats an option even in the crucible but also because in previous trial runs you had two different classes as options for less than half the amount of fights and we should also be allowed to run more than just one champion per team, just like said trials. it also simply makes no sense for kabam to make story milestones easier to achieve and then punish players for not playing long enough to develop a huge roster, it is also something like 90 champs total which is a far cry from the 30 that the difficulty is even based off of which is just bizarre because no other part of the game requires such a deep roster, like maybe 6 or 7 champs per class at the most which accounts for less than half of required champs for elder and that is assuming that each classes is evenly spread with strong champs at high enough ranks which is also just blantantly unrealistic.
id genuinely much rather fight like 5 or 6 champs per quest but with something like a million health or more even if they keep the class and node restrictions instead of what we have not as id much rather a test of skill as opposed to a test of long term commitment to a video game, but also simply because I would actually like to have a chance to complete the progression tuned event quest that i am mechanically equipped to achieve.
