At this point, this has been a drag and not even excited anymore as it will be adding more disappointment to the already disappointments of this game.

Felt cheated too as people with double/triple or don’t even know how many times who got it while BG was going on had a upper hand on me with new champs slided in their deck while we wait AFTER BG

Not to act like a Kabam apologist or whatever, but I imagine that combing through the game's data to tell which users didn't benefit from the glitch (and therefore are to be further compensated to make things even) is a big hassle, to say the least: so, saying "ugh, they took too long, I'm not excited about it anymore" seems a bit disrespectful to me.

Are they fixing the broken AI? After 8 years?

Are they updating the outdated nodes on the monthly quest?

Are they coming up with a groundbreaking, original side quest, like this month’s break from the past?

Or, the outdated AW nodes?

Maybe updating AQ?

Are they meticulously ensuring that the upcoming Raid will go online without bugs… for the first time in four months?

Were they busy ensuring the Discord integration went off without a hitch?

Because I’m sure banquet sales are already settled.

I’m pretty sure the next endgame content is settled and set to be released before banquet. (Bugs included to ensure we spend as many unnecessary units as possible in completing it to enhance Banquet sales.)

It’s not a priority to them. There’s no money to be made off of this. Keep that in mind for the next spending event.

Its great that is happening, but in all honestly I don't think people is complaining over receiving the compensation, think of it more like a kid having promised a gift for tomorrow, well he will expect it tomorrow and will be mad if it takes 2 weeks instead. Next time just say its coming at the end of the month and then bum , we get it in 2 weeks, everyone would be ecstatic imo lol.

I would rather them be honest and transparant and give updates along the way. It's good practice for what they should do with everything

One glaring difference being that Kabam never promised a timeframe on the comp coming, only that it would come. People are being disappointed by their own unfounded expectations.

Although I agree, the community is "angry" beacuse they say it would be coming since 2 weeks ago, now lets think about what is coming, and it is a compensation package because the game aint working properly, etc.. And they cant meet their own deadline for delivering it, i mean, lol. As you can see above and in other threads, it is more a sign of everything that is going wrong than a demonstration of them acknowledging it and fixing it. Nobody said it had to be here fast, they said it, I mean, go to your boss and extend the deadline for the job that is your responsibility and that you put yourself in, obvioulsy if not met there will be angry. IMO

This analogy is fitting because these are MCOC kids and they have very big emotions and very little patience. But if they're not kids but grown men behaving like this, then yikes….

And to clarify further, I don't think it should have been here already, I honestly believe that they would not have this kind of outrage (there have been several posts about this and have seen messages in global) if they hadn't said it was coming the week before this one and then delaying it until tomorrow. Just remember how ecstatic was everyone when the first nexus dropped. That was the purpose of the compensation and not getting a lot of posts and attention into the other one. And also yes, I would believe most adult people behave like a kid when playing a game, have seen it in other games as well. but then again it's just my opinion.

It's a Nexus so you can pick another Champ if you like.

The odds of getting one of the great options in a Nexus are pretty good actually. Hoping for Okoye/Jean/Nico or a SW dupe.

I myself work as a software engineer and know what it takes and definitely does need a week to do so. Unless they are old school and have someone do it manually

to explain further:

each action you perform(could expand to clickstream events where each clicks are captured and traced for analytics). But for simplicity lets take this situation where sending compensation is one activity and claiming is another activity and both are traced.
Now query for users where they have sent compensation only once and replay the activity of sending compensation to that compiled list

Now problem starts when

they do not have a concept like this to easily query
they do but their systems crashed while compensations were given out and they just replayed again after crash but if its async processing the ones that benefited were the ones who were sent rewards but dis not get completion acknowledgment back and they got on the list of replaying the compensation rewards again

Take this however you want but if a software is running for 10 years it should be advanced
