Joining a new alliance during Symbiote Sector Bonus Event

I'm currently in an inactive alliance that won't be getting an points in the Symbiote Sector Bonus Event (the one that requires you to complete Zone 30). I have not yet completed Zone 30 myself either.

I'm planning to join a new alliance, but I'm wondering if that'll cause me to be locked out if all rewards for the event.

So, does joining a new alliance now lock me out of all the rewards even if I complete Zone 30 for the first time in the new alliance?

I have no idea, but expect if you join quickly you’ll be eligible for rewards before the event is over
