I have Steve and the 3 star synergy champs cut cant select symbiote sector just sect 1 and then the regular 5 and up sectors

Hey guys so I need a clarification I am stuck on zone 24 boss fight …In a situation if Steve is ko and we revive him aren't the preflights abilities suppose to get active again..or will they be locked out for the rest of the fights till zone 30....I am actually running out of units by using revives..I need help here.
