So you'd think them giving new accounts 10 free 3*s would be a nice win right... well you'd be wrong.
If you didn't know, if you make a new account right now you get 6 5*s, awakening gems and sig stones, 2m gold, and other stuff from their previous incompetency compensation packs.
So even when they do something "nice" its utterly useless and meaningless. The theme of the employees that work at kabam. Such a stupid oversight.

So the incompetency you're talking about is this post itself, right? Because they gave everyone those champs so they would have all of Steve's synergies for the special incursions. That is actually especially helpful for newer accounts that probably wouldn't have any of them. Think before you post.

The 3*s are for Steve's incursions..... where you can only take the 3* version of those champs. This post makes absolutely no sense and is incompetent

It is helpful to be clear about what you're talking about from the get go, especially considering everyone just got a bunch of 3* for free. Your failure to communicate is not the responsibility of others to make up for.

With that said, who cares? Why does it matter that new players get these? What did it do to you that this post became necessary? Kabam gives new players useless stuff all the time, and the current comp is not a normal thing. These 3* are generally helpful for the first little bit of play and are nice bonus to draw new people in. Oh the horror.

Like i said is this single thing a huge deal, no not really just a waste. But when you add up all the points of failure it shows a line. A line that shows they have no idea whats going on in their own game.

Not everything in the game is about getting things to "win the game". Part of this game is collecting champions, whatever the star level. Some players even play just for profile pics.

Were you mad when Kabam gave out free Limited 2-stars? Its the same idea.

And besides, maybe there will be some Halloween themed event/objective where using 3-star Halloween champions is beneficial.

If I understand your incoherent argument you are saying that the fact that the Compensation package (a temporary thing) currently gives champs that are far better than the 10 3* champs new accounts get renders giving those champs a moot point because they are getting better champs and that somehow points to Kabam being an incompetent company.

I have heard a lot of stupid complaints, but this one… this might be the dumbest thing I have heard yet.

Yes, the Comp package outweighs the 3* champs. Who cares? Some people like collecting, there are still champs at all star levels I don't have after 10 years. It still gives new players a bigger starting roster. It gives them more champs to work with in arenas when they start working on those. Some arenas are limited in star rarity so it gives them champs for those lower arenas.

More is not a bad thing.

The fact that you can't realize how this is an even bigger win for new players and not a bad thing really shows how poorly you are able to look at the big picture and just want something to complain about.

I know you are going to call me an apologist, I don't really care. I have no problem calling Kabam out and will always point out when they are not doing the right thing. The key is to point out when they do the correct things as well, because if you are balanced and fair then people pay more attention to what you have to say over those who are only on here to scream and criticize.

Anyway, enjoy your time in upsetville over this, as you are the only person living in that.
