banned without reason and investigation

Hey everyone!

I received a month-long ban on my game account, citing a violation of the user agreement. Tech support only mentioned the use of third-party software, which I disagree with, as I only use one device – an iPhone. I play high in the Alliance Wars category and am losing a lot of time and rewards due to the unlawful ban. Tech support refuses to consider a more thorough review. I'm asking for help here, thanks in advance.

Just because you claim you use only one device shows you either lack the knowledge of what you actually did wrong or chose to omit that aspect all together.

”3rd party software”

does NOT mean

”used multiple devices” (which is actually OK so long as it is only you playing it on those different devices)

it means other Apps or changes to your device which modifies how the game can be played.

Yes, I agree, and I can provide proof that my iPhone is in its original condition, without jailbreaking or any other modifications to the device. I think Kabam can check the device by IMEI and confirm or deny my evidence.

Some mistakes in anti-cheat system are really possible, it can't work perfectly for 100%.

Before the ban, I was kicked out of the alliance raid with an error right during the battle, and there are suspicions that they do not take into account damage modifiers in this event.

And yes, I record my battles in the Alliance War via screen recording, which can serve as proof of my fair play.

You didn't get banned because of damage multipliers in raids...

All I ask is for a thorough investigation of my incident and the real reason for the account restrictions to be provided, as I am afraid to continue playing and investing real money in the game.

They're not going to give you a detailed reasoning. They gave you the reason - use of third-party software. Meaning your account accessed the game through software downloaded through an unapproved source. They don't need to give you more details than that, nor should they because it only helps people find ways around detection.

Most players that come up with reasons that would never make sense in a million years end up being guilty. Presenting the idea that something that happens for all players could only ban you isn't even laughable, it's just outright ridiculous to even suggest.

Third-party software is the easiest thing for them to detect. Only once in recent history have innocent players been caught up in such a ban, and that was a massive ban that involved 10,000 accounts. You're the only one here, so it's not another wave.

To add to that, one month bans are rarely a first offense, but more commonly a second offense. Usually a first offense greater than a week goes straight to permaban.

You may not have necessarily cheated, but someone on your account (which should only be you) used unauthorized software to access the game

But I haven't given anyone access to my account, and I think the Kabam might check this data. They might see that I've only been using one device for the last year and a half.

I see similar screenshots of raid battles in the game chat, and I think this is not normal.

I know this guy very well and there are a lot of videos from the Alliance War. There are no suspicions of cheating. I am confident that he is playing cleanly and the ban is unjustified. Please consider appealing

And if you look at all three, last online times were (EST) 2:26, 2:27 and 2:32. Definitely not the same person...

People jumping in the comments saying "you deserved it cheater" with no proof never fails to make me laugh.

This is the same company that can't even send out 1 set of compensation correctly. Is it hard to believe in the pool of thousands of cheaters there's a few that are innocent and Kabam simply messed up?

I'm just guessing what could have caused this. Did the damage numbers on the screenshot bother you?
