exp bar looks like this for at least 2 days.. why am i not leveling up?

Only way you are going to level up is solo raids and then exchanging the XP token or completing EOP, assuming you haven't already done that

It is explained by you finally hitting the threshold to level up...

the daily gold quest gives more exp than 1k so unless you comment for forum stars, being mr obvious isn't helpful

A bit of an uncalled for response. The question has an obvious answer, so why can't it just be obvious?

It requires about 135m XP to get to the next level and you weren't there until you were. 2m a day through the DSE and solo raids is a lengthy process, and that bar is going to look full for a bit because you can be 99% of the way there and still be a few days away. The raid tokens aren't some special secret that unlocked the next level for you. So your question is explained by the fact that you hit the required XP.
