I'm assuming you joined the alliance after they had already gotten all the milestones. You can't claim milestones already attained when you join a new alliance.
Do you think its a fair thing.? A person giving his time energy and complete all of that and could not get the rewards.? I think kabam should do something its totally not fair @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex @KabamPinwheel @KabamDORK
If it is the case that you joined the alliance after they had already achieved all the rewards, then it doesn't matter whether it is fair or not, it's simply how the game works and has always worked with this style of event. Kabam even did something out of character this round and added text to the in-game message saying that players would not be able to earn rewards that their alliance achieved before they got there.
Especially considering they communicated that warning, you are unfortunately out of luck and won't be able to get the bonus rewards from the alliance event. To say you didn't get rewards for your time and effort is a bit silly though since the incursion run itself had a lot.
It's as fair as it gets.
It is fair yeah. It's to stop players constantly alliance jumping during events and claiming rewards again that they have already claimed previously in their old alliance.
No, it’s not fair.
Particularly when the policy is not made widely-known. Especially when they do not have a consistent, coherent policy in regards to all alliance rewards distributions.
I’m sorry this happened to you.
If it's not widely known then how do a majority of players know about it?
Their policy is very consistent.
We can argue it's dumb that they do this for events that require you to contribute just as much as anyone else but you cant argue anything youre saying as it's wrong
No, it’s not. And you can tell it is not because this about the 15th post about the matter.
I didn’t even know it. But the only reason why I didn’t encounter the issue is because the first thing I do when playing the game is try to anticipate the scummiest, unnecessary thing Kabam can do to withhold rewards.
And their policy is not consistent. AW rewards are 5 wars. I don’t even know AQ’s requirements. BG rewards are a day. The weekly is a few hours. Nobody cares to know the requirements for the lame, friendship event.
Nothing about that is consistent.
So, stop being an insensitive troll.
The way you earn rewards may change from mode to mode, but are always consistent in those modes. Alliance event rewards have always been consistent. This style has always required you to be in the alliance prior to the milestones being completed to gain rewards for said milestones. And Kabam even communicated that in the message that went to everyone in the game about the event.
It doesn't matter how posts there are on the matter. People's inability to read or comprehend things that haven't changed isn't Kabam's responsibility.
Whether we like what Kabam does or not, the simple fact is that this is nothing new.
Insensitive Troll #2,
I’m not interested in the fact that a particular event’s payout is consistent and goes out like clockwork. That’s not what I said, and you know this. The problem is, it’s irresponsible and unethical to make us be responsible for 6 clocks and varying requirements.
But I do suppose you have me a tad on the message part. However, TL/DR, and it’s unethical and irresponsible to expect kids on a kids game to be responsible for thumbing through four spam e-mails daily, sift through the one relevant e-mail, and find the one pertinent sentence through a bunch of nonsensical, feel-good fluff.
And you discarding the fact that numerous people have encountered this, while trying to bring up responsibility, is ironic. Clearly, the company is not marketing their product or informing their community effectively. And that’s probably the most irresponsible thing a business can do.
Of course it's fair. Anyone would be hopping Alliances and collecting Rewards if it wasn't the case.
I think it’s to prevent people from double dipping. They can probably improve the way it works by just restricting each account to be able to collect rewards only once rather than this way. If someone is not in an alliance and joins one after the alliance has already attained all milestones, they are now ineligible to get rewards even once.
