Unfortunately this is the most likely answer. They created ANOTHER game changing defender. Pay walled her to the tune of $600 then had to shut down the entire balance program instead of having to risk upsetting the spenders by fixing her or the player base at large by doing nothing and having absolutely no way to justify it

The best approach to solve Balancing problem is to “solve” the Balancing Team.

Now we shall see 2nd DP, 3rd DP and more 1000$ souvenirs DP in the future.

of course… but looking at it, when did the rebalance program as currently instituted actually help the players? Buffs were a joke. Duds -we were told -were balanced (Leader), and of course the Serpent fiasco.

Yes it’s dead. Yes they did it because the couldn’t touch Dark Pheonix. And yes, it still needed to cease to exist. Titan crystals can now be evaluated for what they are instead of “but they could be buffed!” hype. Whatever the answer is to the balancing of champs- the rebalance program wasn’t it

I don't really have a strong opinions one way or another about the balance program, but why are you saying dark phoenix was paywalled and cost $600. She cost free units if you saved and for those units you got a lot of other stuff too as well as her. Like I used arena units and got her and all the other champs release at the time without spending as well as rank up materials...
