What do we think it is?

There have been some rumors floating around (maybe from people close to kabam maybe not) that kabam is going to reveal some news on the livestream that many players are not going to like.
So given that we only have a few hours until the nuke drops, what do we think they are about to do?

I’ve heard this too from several content creators.

An arena rework would definitely annoy almost everyone. But man, I don’t know how much more bad news the community can take

units in arena nerfed into the ground is my guess…. Hope I am horribly wrong as that’s 90% of the game for me (don’t grind BGs…. There isn’t enough other content). Anyway, this is pure dooming on my part - I have zero info about it.

just the idea that there are multiple rumors of bad news for players after the last few months of Kabam gut punching them time and again is almost unfathomable to me. I can’t really process how that accomplishes anything. They need to build back trust and enjoyment- not take your beaten down customers to the woodshed for some more punching practice

I think it’s absolutely wild how we just keep spiraling. It’s like from the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, every decision they make is taking us from bad to worse. This is absolutely mind blowing. Especially that this live stream is previewing content during the cyber weekend month…interesting decision to announce something that the community is not going to like during the month of a big sale. Hopefully if it is really bad, people speak with their wallets

I’ve heard about that too! Wild stuff that they have managed to piss off one of the biggest whales in the game. If he leaves/stops spending, it will definitely have a huge impact, because it definitely won’t just be him. He has a ton of friends that are whales too, and I imagine they are all feeling similar about decisions Kabam is making

the creator I saw said the rumors would tick off the vast majority of players. The vast majority aren’t whales… which makes me think lower spenders and FTP are the target… which sounds like units…. which brings on arenas.

And there is already one developer for Kabam that as disclosed he pretty much hates them and pushes for their elimination. And he also seems to be the one person who no one will stand up to,.

You'd hope they wouldn't dare to touch units in arenas. It would be a highly naïve decision if they thought nerfing units in game would mean people would just spend for them instead. I imagine most of the people who spend big also grind units big and wouldn't want to make up the difference with more spending.

This does just seem like gossip though probably just driven by current negative community sentiment so people just speculating what other bad things could come.

Maybe they will discontinue the forums, god knows it has been working against them. Look at every official announcement, its bad news or news about fixing an F Up over and over.

I keep hearing this but I have never seen his comments on the matter. Can someone post screenshots or tell me where to look? I always hear how he's saying rather controversial things but have never seen what he's saying.
